Photos and Description of this Minho & Costa Verde holiday bungalow The house has a well protected pool & is located close to a beautiful beach

The house is beautifully sited in a private and secluded dune garden, making a perfectly safe environment for children to play in. The garden also provides a well protected swimming pool and a large stone-built barbecue. Both houses have their own south facing patio. Beach is on ca.100 meters walk from the houses. The landscape offers lovely walks through the pine forest, up eucalyptus covered hillsides and along the stretch of sandy beach both to the north and south. The beach is a hot surf spot and a two minute walk from the house. A short car ride enables one to experience wonderful walks in the 'Serra de Arga' or in the National Park of 'Geres'. There are several beautiful Golf courses within 30 km. The nearest town Caminha is only a short drive away and is full of the local flavours and colours of Portugal. There are many good quality restaurants, cafes and shops here and the weekly market offers a range of typical Portuguese handicrafts at exceptionally reasonable prices.

An easy to run family home with a beautiful south facing terrace overlooking the spacious garden. A large stone barbecue in the garden is the typical focal point for warm summer nights. The pool in the back of the garden is well fenced off and forms a secluded area. Through a gate in the back of the garden, a short walk will take you to the beach and the forest (100meters). The house is well equiped and featers four bedrooms, of which two have a stunning view over the garden. A big fire place gives a cosy atmosphere in the winter days.

Moledo do Minho is located at the mouth of the river Minho, separating portugal and Spain. It is a quiet sea side village with excellent surfing facilities, some excellent restaurants and beautiful walks along the sea front ad through the woods. Within two kilometers the ancient roman city of Caminha offers a weekly market and many picturesque spots. Good walking opportunities in nearby Serra d' Arga and the Geres. Golfing within 20km on the sloppy golf course of Ponte de Lima.

Have just returned from two weeks at Nettie's lovely house which is set in the most beautiful, peaceful location. We travelled as a family group with a baby and a toddler. Our toddler loved the freedom of being able to explore the garden and we appreciated the trees for their shade when the young ones needed it. We enjoyed long evenings drinking vinho verde on the terrace and ate lots of very fresh fish cooked on the fabulous stone BBQ. The pool was lovely and very safe. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was very friendly. Couldn't really have wished for more!

Pure tranquility!It was an unusual,yet ideal place to stay with friends over the christmas holidays! Great walks and amzing surf! It was cold, but the large fire in the house kept us comfortably warm.

An unforgetable experience!
