Variety is key for this stunning rural location where you are instantly engrossed into the local and traditional Italian country way of life. There's something for everyone no matter the size, or the desires and wishes of the holiday party. A visit to the local town enables you to view the local Olive and Vineyard industries whilst eventually stocking up with the traditional Italian fayre, or the usual brands, from which tourists sometimes, just can't seem to escape! Blending in amongst the local people and their culture will be second nature before too long, they are very friendly people.
Options for fun, enjoyment, and rest are endless. Either via leisurely walks, or, by car, take in the unbelievable and beautiful mountainous scenery, lakes, waterfalls, or visit the local and National parks. Alternatively for those requiring the more traditional holiday pursuits, both popular and quiet beaches, with their gorgeous and unbeatable ice cream, are within easy driving distance, as is a fun packed water park. The traditional and interesting Lanciano and Casoli, are full of historical tradition, restaurants, bars, cafe's and vibrant night life. Even Pescara the famous and busy main East Coast Italian city, is impressively authentic, interesting, and bustling at traditional times. Locals ensure they maintain standards to cater for the many tourists, it attracts. It is well worth the 50 minute drive, especially if you are missing the big city syndrome!. If you have come to this advertised property just to 'chill out ' you've also picked the right place, just thoroughly enjoy the spacious, well appointed, traditionally decorated and thoughtfully furnished accommodation. The view across the valley is simply spectacular. I brought my family here for two weeks at the end of July. We returned thoroughly impressed with all aspects, especially the accommodation and the weather where it hardly dropped below 37 centigrade, all fortnight. Now, where did we put that family photo album, we certainly have indeed enjoyed some more 'Solid Gold Holiday Memories'
