The loft situated in the centre of Menaggio is the perfect place if you wish to have a enjoyable and cultural holiday on the Lake Como. The home located on the ground floor of a new building very quiet, will give you the opportunity to relax yourself. You can sit outside where there is the terrace with table and chairs so that you can enjoy the sun of Italy. Just outside the main door you will have a private secure parking.

Menaggio situated on the central west coast of the Lake Como is the perfect place if you wish to have a relaxing and cultural holiday. Just outside the apartment you have the possibility to have a lovely walk on the promenade and have a special italian breakfast or lunch in one of the bars and restaurant that are all around. Moreover there are two supermarket if you decide to have lunch at home. If you like golf you can visit the one that is five minutes by car from the apartment,that is the most historical golf in Europe. From Menaggio there is ferry (5 minutes walking distance from the apartment) to go and visit villa Melzi in Bellagio, Varenna, Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo or Lenno where you will have the opportunity to visit villa like Villa Balbianello FAI (where casino royal was filmed), .villa Collina in Cadenabbia (Kohnrad Adenauer residence).

Kitchen and living area: The new kitchen is fully fitted and includes oven, fridge/freezer, American coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. The living area has a complete entertainment system, including satellite TV and a DVD player. The open plan terrace of 65 square metre accessible from the living and kitchen area.

Bedrooms: There are two room one double situated on the ground floor and the other one with twin beds in the loft which overlooks the living /dining area. In the living room there is a also sofa bed. The bathroom on the ground floor near the double room has shower, bide and wc.

Spacious modern airy Menaggio loft

Our family of five, all adults, stayed at this apartment for one week at the end of August, 2009. We were all pleased with our visit. This light and airy loft was modern, clean, and was generously appointed. Good pots and pans, dishware and silverware. The apartment had up-to-date appliances and very nice design elements and colors. The owners were friendly, helpful and available--we were able to get internet and followed their restaurant suggestions to good effect. Beds were firm and comfortable. One useful addition might be a small fan in the upstairs loft bedroom to improve air circulation in that sleeping area, where there are two twin beds. The apt is in an excellent location in Menaggio, close to the ferry, the Pelicano grocery store, the wonderful beachfront walk along Lake Como. In touring the area, we especially enjoyed hiking up to the small shrine (you can see it eerily lit up from far down below at night), the town of Varenna across the lake, and the excellent art museums in Milan. Also enjoyed several meals at the small family-run Ristorante Vecchia Menaggio, with good pizza, pasta and local fish.

First Class Apartment

We stayed at the beginning of May and had a fantastic time in Menaggio. The apartment is great - very spacious, modern, clean and well equipped. The location is very central, only a short stroll from the good choice of restaurants and bars Menaggio has to offer. The town has good food shops and a two supermarkets if you wish to make use of the apartment's facilities and self cater. Car parking was no problem and the owners were very helpful in recommending restaurants and shops in the town and also some a little further away by car. The ferry terminal is 10 minutes walk, making it easy to explore other towns on the lake such as Bellaggio, Varenna and Como. We'll certainly be returning.

Fantastic apartment

We spent 5 days here at the end of April and found it to be even better than expected. We were 3 adults and a toddler and we had more than enough room. Both bedrooms are a good size and the terrace is huge.
The flat is newly renovated, everything was brand new and spotless.
It really is in the centre of the village, very close to restaurants and small shops.
Menaggio is perfect for exploring the Lake Como area and we could not have found a better place to stay!!
