Ideally situated in a typical street between Largo da Misericordia and Largo do Carmo, in the elegant Chiado district and at a walking distance of the Largo Luis Camões and the Brasileira Café made famous by Fernando Pessoa, the apartment affords many delights within walking distance. It is an ideal base from which to soak up Lisbon's culture and explore. This large apartment has kept all it's charm from the XIXth century with its vast volumes, its wooden doors, floors and the antique Azulejos tiles on the stairway, beautifully refurbished after the fire. Is deffenitly in the best area of the historic centre of Lisbon. It's a luxurious, sunny, spacious and quiet apartment. It's ideal for who want to go everywhere walking. Metro stop is 200m away and there is an efficient network of buses.

  • The price is valid for 2 Persons. For each extra person 10 EUR per night (max. 7 persons).
    Weekly discount (except in Easter and New Year).
    When staying longer than 7 days a 10% reduction will be applied, 20% when longer than a month.
    A deposit of 30% is required to confirm the reservation. Balance of 70% required to be paid on arrival with the delivery of the keys.
    Check in after 12:00 pm and check out before 14:00 am. Other arrangements possible if no other guests are coming in / going out the same day.

Notes: Apartment located at the heart of historical Lisbon, next to Largo do Carmo, at the Chiado area, near Bairro Alto. A few minutes walk (5) takes you to the Rossio, in the Baixa, and to the famous Elevador. On the other direction you will reach the Praça do Comércio, 1 minute walking till the subway of Chiado. Close to shops, restaurants (right next to cervejaria Trindade), cafes, banks, cash machine, public transportation (subway and electric trams) and 24 hour taxi stands, etc. Super central. In the heart of downtown.

Amazing time in Lisbon

Do you know when you go somewhere and you just want that perfect place that blends in with everything else? Well, this is the place. Ideal for hassle free holidays, where you can most of all enjoy Lisbon and its beautiful narrow streets, by knowing you have the comfort of a charming and spotless place waiting for you every day.

About the place I have only the best to say. Super tidy and clean, spacious, with an impressive view on the castle and in one of the best locations in Lisbon - Chiado. Surprisingly, this flat is on a very quiet street, away from the hussle of Friday night partiers, where you can always enjoy a splendid evening or night sleep. From this place you can basically walk everywhere downtown - from the castle sloaps to the narrow streets of bairro alto.

I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Lisbon for a special, relaxed and perfect holiday.

Lovely Apartment in THE Best Neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay in Madalena's lovely apartment. 3 of us stayed at the apartment for 3 days in August. The apartment is fully equipped and offers a wonderful view, great light and is within walking distance of the best neighborhoods - restaurants and bars in Bairro Alto and lovely shops and cafes in Chiado. Despite being very centrally located, the street that the apartment is on is very quiet. The #28 tram runs nearby to take you to Castelo and Alfama. Highly recommended!

Great House in the Centre

4 of us stayed in this apartment in January - the apartment was great. Right in the very heart of the centre - we walked everywhere (and well worth talking the traditional yellowtrams - great fun). At night its great as there are many restaurants nearby and the Bairro Alto area is right next to the house - with great bars and restaurants.

The house is a 1 bedroom - but the hall and living room are spacious and the house was more than big enough for four adults. the kitchen was a great place for us were we had breakfast. The best part of the house is the view from the living room and the fact that the it gets a lot of sunlight. For people from Northern Europe this was a great change from the grey skies of Holland.

A nice extra to the house was that the internet was included - and the TV had cable with loads of foreign channels.

I would definitely recommend this house for couples or groups of adults.
