Kotor is one of the most charming small towns on the Bay - UNESCO protected, it is a small walled city, dominated by a fort on the hillside behind, somewhat reminiscent of the Great Wall of China! With lively cafes, small shops, restaurants and bars, the best nightclub in the country and quaint market stalls, there is something for everyone. The marina immediately outside the main gate is host to super yachts as impressive as any you'd find in St Tropez - the beaches are a few minutes walk, and there are a host of day trips and mountain walks in the area. Still unspoilt and charming, its worth discovering Montenegro before the crowds do!

Excellent location ,nice and quiet spot in the old town.Walking distance to the many bars and restaurants of kotor.The property was very well maintained and equipped.The only moan would be about the toilet being seperate from the bathroom but, as a previous traveller mentioned, is probably to do with dodgy local plumbing !Yes the communal staircase is a bit scruffy but not a problem !Would definitely recommend the restaurant 'Bastion' which is practicaly next door.
First class.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Romantic Getaway

Great holiday base!

Stayed last September for a week - great apartment, comfortable beds - sunny but quiet... masses of restaurants and bars in the old town - great club maximus - loved the marina and the boats... will definitely go again - we all had a great time.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Nice Place to Stay..

Good position, away from the noise of the old town. Top floor apartment - slightly scruffy staircase on the way up, but once the door opened the apartment was great. Clean, good quality and nice homely feel. Good beds and bathrooms, though the main bathroom has the toilet off the sitting room due to strange montenegran plumbing but that wasn't a problem. Also, no oven, which took a while to register - but we didn't eat in once because there are so many small restaurants and bars - so not a problem (there's a hob, and fridge and clothes washer). Would definitely go back.

Cosy, Quirky apartment

Stayed here for a week over Christmas - charming apartment - wooden floors and nice feeling. Well situated in the town - very quiet which is good as the bars can be noisy. Light and sunny but no balcony and no oven! Neither of which mattered. Would recommend it for a great holiday.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
