'Beach Reach' is a very stylish detached bungalow situated among the sand dunes in Greatstone and has direct access to the sandy shores of the Romney Bay. The self catering accommodation is all on one floor with open plan living room, dining area and kitchen. There is a family shower room/wc. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds and two single beds. All the beds have duvets and linen and towels are included. There is an open fire (if you wish to use it, please provide your own fuel which can be obtained locally), TV and DVD player. Electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also ample garden furniture for the large decking area and a BBQ. Electricity and heating are included. Sorry no pets allowed. Sorry non smokers only. Beach Reach is set in Greatstone which is about 1 1/2 miles from New Romney. The Dunes & beach are in the Romney Bay with views from Dover to Dungeness with occasional glimpses of the French coast. The beach is ideal for bathing, playing, kite flying, wind surfing, land sailing & Beach fishing. There are local shops and public houses within 1/2 mile. Sainsburys is in New Romney along with a selection of small shops, cafes and antique shops. The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature railway is about 1 mile away. There are several restaurants near by. The famous Littlestone golf course is about 1 mile away. Dungeness is well known for sea fishing as well as its lighthouse which can be climbed and there is a RSPB bird reserve and fresh water fishing lakes. In Lydd there is a water sports centre with wind surfing, power boat racing and go carting. Other attractions in the area include Dover Castle, Bodium Castle, Sissinghurst, Hastings and Canterbury with its shops & Cathedral.

Lovely home, light and modern, great sized kitchen and living area, ideally situated on the beach for kids to tire themselves out. Shame the bathroom has a standard sized shower and no bath when the house is catering for a family.

Simply Splendid!

Our family, which is my wife, our 2 1/2 years old boy and myself, spent a splendid week in this property.
The house is located directly on the sea coast, has its own car park and is very well equipped.
The fenced veranda makes the outdoor area a safe children's playground.
A lot of places of interest such as several animal parks or the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway as well as some famous golf courses are within short-distance reach.
No doubt, a place to return...
We particularly enjoyed staying in a non-smoking house where pets are not allowed at all.
We immediately felt at home!

We've visited Beach Reach twice. We've enjoyed ourselves very much. The house is very well equiped. It's not too far from the ferry (we come from the Netherlands) and it's wonderful to stay so close to the beach.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Séjour très agréable. La maison est encore mieux que dans le descriptif. Il y a tout le confort. Vous vous sentez comme chez vous. La propriétaire est très sympathique et très discrète. C'est la destination idéale pour pouvoir visiter Hasting, Canterburry et surtout Londres qui est à une heure. La gare la plus proche est Maidstone. Une région magnifique et nous y retournerons, car il y a encore beaucoup de balades à faire et nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu tout voir à Londres. Une semaine ne suffit pas.
