Les Glousses is situated in a superb location in the private estate of Les Chartreuses du Boulou, which winds up into the foothills of the Pyrenees behind Le Boulou- - a small market town with all amenities; bars, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, market. Argeles sur Mer has wide sandy beaches just 20km east, and Mount Canigou (2,785m) is to the west. The villa is modern, light and airy with 4 double bedrooms. Two have en-suite shower rooms with loo. The third is near the bathroom with loo, the fourth is on the mezzanine. There is an extra room with a double sofa bed, two single z-beds (which can go anywhere) and a single bed on its own mezzanine. There is an additional separate loo. The kitchen is welll-equipped, the dining room and sitting room are separated by an open fire. The villa has various terraces all around giving all-day sun and well equipped for outside dining, seating, lounging around the pool (8m x 4m) with its security fence.

Les Chartreuses du Boulou is a private estate in the foothills of the Pyrenees, 25 mins from the sea, in the region of Catalonia which has its own special cuisine. The seaside town of Collioure has been the home of many Impressionists and Port Vendres, where Charles Rennie Mackintosh spent the last four years of his life, has a superb fresh fish market. The castles of the Cathars are within an easy days compass. Skiing in season is 90 mins away. The slopes of Les Alberes mountains are laced with walks with stunning views over the plain to Corbieres to the north and Spain to the south. With wide easy tracks even at high levels and more challenging paths to suit all walking tastes. Lanquedoc-Roussillon enjoys good weather and sunshine for most of the year and is famous for the variety of its local wines.

French doors lead off the kitchen, dining room and living room to the almost all round terrace and dining area. In the utility room there is a fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner. Steps from the terrace lead up to the fenced and gated private swimming pool (8m x 4m) which has a summer cover and is serviced weekly. The terrace can accommodate 12 people. You can cook on the charcoal bbq. Garden furniture includes 6 sun loungers with cushions, 3 tables, 10 chairs with cushions and 6 stacking chairs. This is all complemented by panoramic views over the plain to the Corbieres with mount Canigou to the west and the Mediterranean to the east. Ask for a copy of the floor plan.

Ski: Ski resorts are at Les Angles, Font Remu and Pyrenees 2000 - about 90 minutes away by car. Alternatively the train leaves from Perpignan Station. The bus from Girona Airport (please, contact owner for further information) connects with the station at Perpignan stopping at the motorway exit at Le Boulou.

Golf: Golf is available at Saint Cyprian - 25 mins way by car. Alternatively, Falgos has a wonderful course high into the Pyrenees, looking over into Spain with fabulous views. There is a spa, gym, swimming pool, walking course, restaurant for the non-golfers.
