Casa Barnetti is situated at 300m above sea level in glorious wooded hills. Perugia is 30 minutes drive with Umbertide 25 minutes and Lake Trasimeno 20 minutes. Hill top villages such as Gubbio, Cortona and Montone are all nearby. Perugia is a famous walled hill top University Town with terrific night life. Assissi is about 35 minute drive. Umbertide has a superb weekly food and vegetable market every wednesday. Local butchers, bakers and greengrocers in Mantignana. The Fontana, Duomo and Museum in Perugia are all a must for art lovers.

Golf: The superb Robert Trent Jones designed Championship Golf Course at Antognolla has reopened in 2008 and is only 10 kms from our house. Lovely golf course also in Perugia.

Walks: Casa Barnetti is situated on the 250 acre Racchiusole Estate where the English owners live full time. In addition to their own house they have 2 large farmhouses to rent within a few minute walking. There are wonderful rural walks in the surrounding woods with lovely birdsong.

Tennis: There is a first class astro turf tennis court about 200 meters from Casa Barnetti for use by our Tenants. Tennis balls and rackets are at Casa Barnetti.
