A beautiful Private holiday villa with family pool and air conditioning on Kyrenia's magic mile. This peaceful retreat lies under the lea of St Hilarion Mountain Castle amongst pine and Olive groves with lovely sea views over Kyrenia town. Kyrenia's town with it's Byzantine harbour restaurants , bars and shops is easily accessible. The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms with marble floors and two of the bedrooms are en suite making the villa ideal for families sharing or with extended families. The distant ancient & magical castle of St Hilarion looks down onto the villa's pool and BBQ area which has a shaded pergola area, comfortable poolside furniture and table tennis table. There is ample shade to be found under parasols and pergoda and the villa has a canteleved arae outside the kitchen next to the BBQ. There are mini drinks tables and plastic glasses and cutlery for use around the pool.

Car: recommended
Kyrenia's busy harbour restaurants bars and shops are minutes away from the villa. As Kyrenia is at the hub of all routes its a great place to stay and you won't be presented with a long drive each evening. The best restaurants are all within 1 mile of the villa. In summer a car is required but I regularly walk to the harbour when it is cooler. A taxi to the centre is £3-4 from the villa the old harbour is a short walk. There are numerous shops and restaurants close by.

  • All bedrooms have lovely views of either the mountains & St Hilarion which is spectacularly lit up at night or wonderful sea views over Kyrenia. The hallway and one of the twin bedrooms have patio doors to the roof terrace , a great pareato sit as the sun sets with panoramic views. Hairdryers are provided and the two king size bedrooms have en suite shower rooms. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have marble floors. The linen is Egyptian cotton which we brought in especially for that extra touch of comfort. All of the bedrooms are spacious with the len suite bedrooms approximately 20M2 each.

Notes: On entering the villa there is a lovely hallway leading to all rooms. The villa is not open plan so you can always find a quiet spot in one of the numerous living areas. The villa has its own back up generator which we had installed as power outages are fairly common. especially important in winter as the central heating requires a power source to run.

currency: Sterling is freely usable and the shops give you a mid market price which means you do not lose on the forex. You can make sterling withdrawals in Kyrenia at HSBC - Cost £3 for the foreign withdrawal. [Saving is around 10% on Forex} Also sterling has not lost value against the Lira so North Cyprs is an especially good value destination at the moment. Looking at 30-40% saving on spending money compared to Euro destinations
