Photos and Description of this Nice holiday apartment Self contained garden apartment in central Nice

We have a small (25 SQ M) apt in a secluded neigborhood, five minutes walk from the beach, shops and buses ready for your holiday. The property is unique as it is situated as part of an old French bourgeoise villa that is completely modernized on the inside. You have your own entrance, a sunny garden with a table and chairs, a little kitchen with a stove, large refrigerator,and a small shower room. Accommodation is for one or possibly two people. The bed is a clic clac standard double mattress which makes into a couch for the daytime. We are asking only 231euros a week for the high season (June- Oct) and 175 for the winter months. Utilities are included except in the case of a long term lease. The studio is a perfect little nest for seeing all the Cote d'Azur has to offer.

Nice has endless attractions in the way of dining,museums,day trips and night life. Here in our location,you don't need a car. The brand new bike system lets you rent a bike for as little as 1 euro and return it to another location in the town. The town is equipped for bikes with the best trails going right along the sea. Buses run regularly and provide quick and easy access to the train station for day trips to Cannes, Antibes, Eze, and Monte Carlo as well as market day in Italy right across the border. Trips to the mountain villages (Breil, Tende, Entreveax...).can be accessed by special local trains. At the bus stop 10 minutes away, you can catch the express bus to the airport or nearby towns as well as the old town of Nice. In Winter the ski slopes are only 45 minutes away or in summer the beach is 10 minutes walk away. There is something for everyone. Take advantage of the Carnival coming up in February. The lights and decorations are the best ever this year.

Additional information about rental rates

  • For the high season of June - Oct. we will charge a daily rate of 40 euros a night, utilities included . For Nov-May the charge is 33 euros a night. September and October are included in our high season as they are some of the finest months of the year here in Nice.
  • The only additional charge is the cleaning/security deposit of 60 euros which can also be counted as the reservation deposit that is put into paypal. At the end of your stay if everything is left tidy and in good order, that money is returned to you.
  • The reservation deposit is non-refundable if you should change your mind. There are some instances where we will refund if the time is far ahead of the arrival date.

  • The bathroom is a simple tiled room with a sink, shower and toilet . We have added a small washing machine in the shower room.

  • The main room has a double sofa bed for two people. There is also a separate clic clac bed for those who want to sleep separately. The street is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle as it is on a cul de sac. We furnish freshly washed cotton linens for the bed and cotton towels including beach towels on request. There is a parasol and mats for the beach and a beach bag to carry down to the sea when the sea is fine. Today I bought a little radio, ipod, mp3 player for the apartment. The oranges ripe in the garden for everyone to enjoy. The winter decorations are charming and the big ferris wheel is up ready for Carnival in February.

Damage/security deposit/ reservations: Damage deposit for summer is the equivalent of 2 nights stay refundable on departure. To reserve your time slot, we ask that you pay your damage deposit amount into a paypal account. That is 66 euros in the high season of June, July, August and Sept. or 50 euros in the remaining months. This way you are insured of your reservation. If you fail to arrive, this deposit is non- refundable. With a longer stay of three weeks or more, the deposit is adjusted and refundable.

Bus from airport or train: To get to your apartment from the airport we advise the 23 bus from Terminal one at the Nice international Airport. If you come in on terminal two there is a free shuttle to terminal one. The buses are on the west side of the terminal. The bus fee is one euro to be paid in coins to the driver. He will give change for small bills too. Check the number of stops (approximately 9) at the bus stop or stand next to the driver so he can signal your stop at Av de Fabron. The distance of the bus from the train is also about nine stops. The buses from the station (Gare) are the number 12 and the 23 to our bus stop, Av de Fabron.

Larger Flat ready now: Our larger flat (58sq m) is now up on the site. The number is 444909. It has 3 double beds: one free standing , one loft, and one fold down couch. There will be another fold out couch in the sitting room as well. It can sleep 4 ideally and another two children. There is a living room, fully equipped kitchen ,bathroom and sunny terrace. We are asking 700 euros a week.
