Photos and Description of this Lesbos holiday house A perfect house for a self catering holiday

Sunset charm is a romantic, welcoming stone house set in a quiet neighbourhood and near to the castle, shops and bakery, 10 minutes walk to the main beach. It is a comfortable villa for a self catering holiday There is a big double bedroom plus 3 couches that can be made into big single beds with an extra twin bedroom and private bathroom in the basement. In the front of the house there is a large garden area where there is a grand stone table with plenty of chairs. One can sit here and enjoy, not only the sunsets but also the lovely picturesque harbour and all its fishing boats coming and going.

Lesvos is the third largest island of Greece but yet largely unknown. There have been many famous artists and writer that have come from this island and one can see some of their works in the museums of Mytilene (the capital of Lesvos). Truly an impressive island with archaeological ruins far and wide, olive trees are in an abundance and some are reputed to be over a thousand years old, and with the islands clear crystal cool waters so site seeing is a must.

  • The main bedroom has a large double bed, ample cupboard space, TV, DVD player and full size bath, toilet and hold hand carved marble wash basin. All upstairs windows give beautiful views of the harbour and Aegean – even whilst lying in bed or taking a bath. There is another bedroom in the basement which is entered by its own private site door. This has a window at ground level which keeps the room cool. There are 2 single beds which can be made into one double if preferred, cupboards, stereo system and its own separate toilet, shower and hand basin. The ground floor with the kitchen/ living area has 2 large comfortable sofas which can be made into large single beds, made private if needed by curtains that can be drawn to separate from kitchen area. The stone wall has an alcove which houses the stereo system.

This house is really huge and the setup is perfect. The upstairs in particular is adorable with the wooden floors and en suite bathroom with the bedroom. You can sit in the bathtub looking out the window at the magnificent view or read as you watch the sunset. It is in the heart of the most charming village and a close walk to the beach. The stainless steel kitchen is amazing and fully equipped. I had a really relaxing stay!
