Fantastic rural retreat

My friends hired Deer Walk and my family (and Eric our labrador) hired Badgers Rest. The cabins are clean and very well laid out. The family at the farm are so friendly and Mel is amazingly helpful. even though the weather was not so good, we all had a brilliant time.

The 4 cabins are set in a wonderfully peaceful setting on Wall Eden Farm. There are plenty of pubs within walking distance through the fields and lots of easily accessible beaches to walk dogs on.

Howard and the children enjoyed fishing in the river and the lake (joined by Mick the farms dog who will show you the best fishing spots). The grass area between the cabins is ideal for children to play safely in.

We had a Tesco shopping delivery but there is an Asda nearby. There are also fish & chip shops, indain and chinese take aways within a couple of miles.The Huntspill Arms is to be highly recomeended for gorgoeus food and is walkable (approx 1.5 miles, 45 min).

We would definately recommend hiring these cabins.

Our party cinsisted of 4 adults, 12 year old twins, a 14 and 15 year old and a labrador. Visited in Aug 2009. We are booking for next year.

Nice place especially for children

Is a quiet and nice place to get away. Lovely area for children to run around and explore. However, the cleaniness of the property might need to improve slightly. Overall, it is alright.
