Brunswick Cottage - Self Catering Cottage, ideal for Romantic Breaks, family breaks and friends. BRUNSWICK is an 18th century fisherman’s cottage that has been refurbished to a very high standard to provide all modern amenities. Brunswick provides a relaxed environment for holidays and long weekends, to allow you to recharge your batteries. Brunswick is on three floors. The ground floor is a fabulous sociable area incorporating lounge, kitchen and entertainment section. Brunswick includes central heating and a log burning fire, and has two double bedrooms with large comfortable double beds. The master bedroom includes a flat screen TV and large fitted wardrobes. There are hairdryers, bed linen and towels provided at the cottage. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The first floor master bedroom includes a shower room, and the top bathroom includes a roll top bath. The top landing is large, and we have placed a futon .. Perfect for Romantic getaways and time with the family. 4 star

PLEASE READ OUR TESTIMONIALS - THEY SPEAK VOLUMES Parking is limited in Staithes old town. If you're loading or unloading you can stop for a short while outside our property, but it is likely you will be blocking the narrow streets, so please do not leave your car there for a long period. There are some parking spaces, but these are private and for permanent residents only. Please be warned that wheel clamps are used in some places. If you are a day tripper, you are best leaving your car in the public car park at the top of the hill by the old station. There are over 100 spaces for cars and coaches. Charges vary from £1.20 for two hours to £5.00 for 24 hours all year round. If you do buy a long stay ticket, it is also valid for the other car parks in the Scarborough Borough area, including those at Whitby.

Better than a Spa - the moment you enter the front door an atmosphere of total relaxation takes over.

This cottage is a really really special find. The cottage is equiped like a home from home not like a rental cottage so you immediately feel like you are at home.

The fixtures & fittings are v high quality.

Walk down the cobbled street to the sea front to enjoy a crab sandwich and a latte or a pint of the real stuff in the traditional pubs.

Just a short hop from Whitby this cottage is HIGHLY RECOMMENED!

I went with my sister , her 3 grandsons (9, 11, 13 years and my grand daughter who is 8 years. The boys were really pleased with the cottage, they loved the facilities especially the bath and the fact that there were 2 bathrooms. There was a television in one of the bedroom and a lovely big TV downstairs.
There was plenty of space and each could have privacy.
they could go off to the beach and loved the smallness and compactness of Staithes and its facilities and shops, pubs and restaurants.
The cottage was lovely and fresh and clean , plenty of towels for the boys and the heating was on when we went before Easter and it was so cosy.
we shall definitely booking this wonderful cottage

i have visited this property with family and friends on four occasions now, always clean and maintained to a very high standard, kitted out with everything you would need for your stay whatever time of year you visit. relaxing environment perfect for a nice retreat to recharge your batteries. lots to do- excellent walks out of staithes, local pubs have nice food, coffee shop nearby with nice cakes. short drive to local restaurant in nearby town.
would certainly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Staithes is really unusual and fun - proper old fashioned seaside place. The cottage had everything I wanted and was cosy and warm . The woodburning stove was a real plus for me and the housekeeper had thought of everything. I'll go again.

Winter weekend visit to Brunswick Cottage

I stayed at the property for a weekend in December. I loved the atmosphere of Staithes (no Bingo and ice cream lickers here!). We enjoyed a lovely walk along the coast to Whitby (with a couple of tea stops along the way).
Staithes oozes character from every pore as does Brunswick Cottage. The cottage is very well laid out and the decor is cheerfully contemporary whilst in keeping with the character of its environment. I loved this place and look forward to a return visit.
