Welcome to the virgin island of SOLTA, a green pearl in the deep blue Adriatic Sea, permanently inhabited by some 1400 people (58 km2). SOLTA is a small island without any factory and only one hotel. Our front sea Villa is ideal for a couple of friends or a family. This villa will please a small, ordinary man, who, in addition to the sun and the sea, searches for complete silence and peace, as well as clean air aromatized with scents of endless greenery : macchia, pine trees, olive trees, herbal plants. The transparency of the sea reaches up to the 40 metres of depth. The sea temperature is constantly over 25 degrees from June to October. MASLINICA was born in 1706 when the nobleman MARCHI brought some villagers from Dalmatia (my family also) and built a castle which has nowadays been converted into the most luxury mini-hotel. This former fishermen village has a few restaurants. SOLTA offers a large number of natural beaches. 10 daily ferry connections to SPLIT are excellent.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are based on a 5 people basis and could be discussed for the low season if you are only 2 or 3 people for instance or if you would like to stay for a few weeks during the low season from February up to May and from October. Besides, for early bookings for SUMMER 2010, we could propose a discount after receiving your enquiries by mail for minimum 2 weeks bookings.

    All bookings are confirmed by a non refundable deposit of 50% of the full amount due. The rest of money minimum sent by a bank swift four weeks before occupation. A caution (security deposit in cash) of EURO 300 is required on arrival and before occupation and will be returned on departure.
    Possibility for boat excursion in the village.

No stress....

In juin 2008 after 5 day's cruise in the islands of Croatia I spent 5 days living in a house on the Island of Solta. It was a very nice and functional house with a panoramic view. I love the natural pool in the rocks, perfect for young children.
If you want sun, clear water, rest and calm, this is the perfect place.
I will return with pleasure

Owner's Response: This is a very good idea to rent a cruiser or a yacht and then come for one or two weeks on this island which is not very far from SPLIT marinas and its airport. We have received people from the USA, the UK, Germany, France and Sweden (in this case) and all of them were very satisfied.

On an island in front of SPLIT, in a paradisiacal spot, a house with a lot of charm and very functional in a nestling in a bosky bower where the cicada are singing on the pine trees. A fantastic view where you can see sometimes some yachts, a private beach with a little natural swimming pool which is a delight. The sea is perfect up to nearly 30° during the summer what permits snorkelling and fishing. A little paradise just two hours by plane from PARIS.

At 5 minutes, there is an authentic village where you can find one market and the restaurants for different budgets.

WONDERFUL HOLIDAYS IN DALMATIA

I spent with my future wife very nice holidays and people were very helpful and nice; we arrived with a yacht in the village and spent a few days in MASLINICA in this villa among olive trees and in front of a few little islands. I recommend it to people looking for authentic mediteranean place coming with a yacht or by plane.

it's an excellent adress to take time without noise , only the sea ,the sun in a quiet place.for a family. it's was good for me to make dinner and in a same time saw my childrens in the garden without any car;the population was great,and we bought fish to the fisher near the house.
the island was mervellous and it's very easy to take boat to visited split.
in fact it's an excellent adress.

Very good holiday beautiful house very clean with a lot of space;very confortable. Cross the street and swing into the gorgious Adriatic You can stay without car ,because all stores restaurants are very closed by the house
