Playa Macenas 5* Beach and Golf resort is situated in a privileged corner of Andalusia, on the coast of Almeria, next to the village of Mojácar and just a few kilometres from the Níjar- Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve. Mojacar offers 17 kilometres of unspoilt beaches including the naturist beaches of El Sombrerico and La Granatilla. Playa Macenas takes its name from one of the most attractive natural beaches of the area adjacent to the complex. One of the best features of Mojacar Playa are the numerous bars/clubs/restaurants that cater for all tastes. You can try Spanish, Italian, German, Argentinean or Chinese fare all at very reasonable prices. The beautiful romantic old white washed village of Mojacar, a 5-minute drive away, is full of character and charm.   • When your stay is for longer than one week, laundering of apartment bed linen and towels is provided free. Cleaning of the apartment can also be provided if requested.
    There is private parking, and security service. Maintenance of the apartment and surrounding area is provided.
    Access to all pool areas is included.
    If you want to use the Golf Course and Spa facilities please advise us in plenty of time to enable playa macenas membership card to be issued.
  • A non-refundable booking deposit of £100 is required to secure rental with the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. A £100 refundable damage deposit is required with final balance.
    You are required to vacate the apartment by 11 am on departure day.
  • Nearest airport is Almeria. Flights are available to Almeria airport(approx 75kms from apartment) from Manchester, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Gatwick, Glasgow,and Belfast.
    There is a new Toll road from Murcia making travelling from Murcia airport easier. Murcia has daily flights from most airports. I can arrange for local pickup at all airports, this would be much cheaper than using airport taxis.
    Daily flights are available from most airports to Alicante.
    Granada airport is approximately 2 hours away.

Wild West shoot-outs, bank robberies, can-can dancing and public 'hangings' are some of the attractions. A zoo and a 'parrot spectacular' have also made their home on the Range. A fun day for the family can be enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings of the Aqua-Park situated in the district of Vera. There is also a Go Karting track just outside of Mojacar on the road to Turre.
