This is a first floor apartment sleeping up to 4 guests with twin beds and a full sized double sofa bed. Furnished to a high standard in a modern style with everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday, it is set in a quieter part of the complex whilst still only a few steps away from the pool. The complex is a combination of holiday and residential homes and has a large free form swimming pool with varying means of access, sunbeds and umbrellas around the outside, children pool, tennis courts, an exercise room and well established gardens. Located 5 minutes away from the nearest beach. Turn right out of the entrance and you will be moments away from the Las Dunas National Park where there are miles of golden sands and blue seas. Join in some of the watersports on offer or simply sit and relax and watch! Turn left and you will find the El Campanario Shopping centre, the Baku Park and the main avenue leading down through Corralejo to the harbour.

Residential Las Dunas is located in a quieter part of Corralejo within a few minutes walk of the El Campanario Shopping centre and the Baku Park Complex. Baku is home to the islands only water park along with the Animal Experience where you can swim with sea lions or a shark, large mini golf, driving range and a market. The main Avenida is a short 15 minute stroll away, here you will find plenty of bars, shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. The road also leads down to the harbour where you can sit and take in the views with a drink or take a boat trip over to the island of Los Lobos or try island hoping and visit Lanzarote. There is a bus stop a couple of moments away, the buses are regular and very cheap making this a great base from which to see more of the island. The nearest beach is a mere 5 minutes away and Corralejo is surrounded by miles of golden Saharan sand in the Las Dunas National Park so you should be able to find that secluded beach to have to yourselves.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Price is for the apartment per week not per person and does not include flights, transfers or insurance.
    The price includes cleaning prior to and after your stay, your being met at the complex, bed linen, bath, hand and tea towels and water and electricity. There are no hidden costs.

    Arrival and departure days are totally flexible. Short breaks, 10/11 day holidays or longer breaks are available.
    We ask that you leave the apartment by 11am on the day of departure only if there are guests arriving on the same day otherwise you may stay until you leave for the airport. This will be confirmed before you depart for your holiday

    No single sex groups of under 21st.
    Strictly no smoking.
  • Optional Extras:
    Transfers to and from the apartments €40 each way (payable locally).

    Welcome Pack (average contents water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter, ham and beer) £15.

  • The bathroom is light and airy and has walk in shower cubicle, bidet, WC, sink and a large mirror. There is a power point for shaving. Bath and hand towels are provided for you.

  • The bedroom has twin beds with room underneath for your suitcases so you do not have to leave them in your way or have to lift them on to the top of the wardrobe. The wardrobe is large and has plenty of hanging and shelf space for all of your belongings. It has sliding doors one of which is a full length mirror. Recently a cushioned stool has been added so that you have somewhere to sit and put your shoes on or to put your clothes after a night on the town! I have also included a hairdryer for you to use, saving space in your suitcase. There is a Digital Safe provided free of charge. There is also a multi plug and plug adapters allowing you to charge your mobile phone, camera, MP3 player etc

Notes: The kitchen has wooden units and is well equipped with fridge, combination microwave, electric 2 ring hob, toaster,kettle, filter sandwich toaster and plenty of crockery, pans and cooking equipment, I have even included plastic cups, plastic wine glasses for you to take down to the pool area. The breakfast bar and stools allows for indoor dining should you prefer. There is also a washing machine for your use and you will find an airier and pegs outside in the covered area of the balcony.The lounge area over looks the balcony and here you will find the large sofa which opens out to a full sized double bed, providing sleeping for a further 2 guests. There is a flat screen television with freeview satellite showing a variety of English speaking programmes. I have also included a small selection of books and a variety of games to suit all ages. You will also find an information folder with details of trips. bars and restauirants. information about the community and Corralejo.

Out and about in Corralejo: Corralejo is the largest resort on the island and is a 30 minute drive from the airport. On the drive up you will pass through the Las Dunas National Park, you can’t help but be amazed by the miles of golden sands. This area is popular with sun bathers and water sport fans and you will see the kite surfers from the road. Within Corralejo you will find the Baku Park which is home to a large mini golf, the Animal Experience where you can swim with a Sealion, Water Park and the twice weekly market where you can buy local crafts, African Art and some really nice jewellery. There are a wide variety of bars and restaurants in Corralejo catering to all tastes including tapas, seafood, Chinese, Indian, steak or even fish and chips! There are plenty of bars offering entertainment including live music, magicians, bird shows, quizzes and bingo.

Shopping in Fuerteventura: There are some good shops in Corralejo offering local crafts, sports wear and jewellery. The El Campanario Shopping centre is a five minute walk from Las Dunas and is a really nice way to spend an hour or so. It is designed to look like a traditional Spanish village and is home to a variety of shops and bars. On a Sunday morning there is a small market with stalls selling crafts, home made cakes and local delicacies. For serious shoppers a trip to Las Rotundas in Puerto del Rosario is a must as this is home to a number of shops including C&A.

There are a whole load of new flights available from winter 2009/10. Easyjet are flying direct to Fuerteventura from Liverpool and Stanstead and Monarch are flying from Birmingham, Manchester and Gatwick. You can also pick up reasonable flights to Lanzarote and then catch a free bus to Playa Blanca and then take the hourly ferry to Corralejo.

Before we went on holiday we had a very good contact with the owner. That gives a good feeling about your holiday. When we arrived we saw the apartment was just like on the pictures. Very clean and nice decorated.
The accomodation also lays very nice in Corralejo. We had a great time there and we had fall in love with the island Fuerteventura!
