When choosing a villa for your holiday it is important to decide on one that is right for you. This delightful 4 bedroom villa is situated on the vizcondado de cabanyes and has all the usual excellent facilities. Aircon in all bedrooms and lounge area, TV with satalite, cd/radio stereo system,dvd player.The villa is spacious and can accommodate 8 people and is ideal for an extended family or two families sharing. The kitchen, lounge/dining room is the heart of the villa with two seperate hallways leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms.The kitchen is fully equiped with oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The villa also has a utility with washing machine/dryer and iron/ironing board for your convenience. All linen and towels ( beach towels also) are included. The heated pool area is gated, great for families with small children. And for your privacy the property is accessable via a locked gate.

This villa in Vizcondado de Cabanyes is surrounded by the beautiful woodlands of the Gavarres mountains, Ideal for walking, cycling or just enjoying what this special little part of Catalonia has to offer. From championship golf courses ( we can arrange discounted green fees and booking), to medieval villages/churches, to the vibrant nightlife of Platja d'Aro a Spanish resort only 10 min away with its own water park. Palamos is a working fishing town with a fresh fish market open most days. The city of Girona offers great shopping or a visit to its medieval quarter is a great day out. And for the more adventurous, a day in Barcelona is interesting and exciting whether you go by car or train. The coast of the Costa Brava has magnificent beaches from fun filled family ones to the small rocky coves, great for snorkeling or just relaxing by the Mediterranean sea.

Additional information about rental rates

  • terms & Conditions- the rental price includes all the electric, gas and water. Full clean and laundering before your arrival. Beach towels are included and rentals of 2 weeks or more include a full clean & laundry per week. Also included is a meet & greet service in which Samantha & Jim will meet you to show you around and explain how the villa works. If you require the pool to be heated it will cost 50.00eu per week extra.
  • Deposits- A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the final balance to be paid 8 weeks before your holiday start date. A breakage/security deposit of 300.00 eu ( £300) is required on arrival and refunded less any breakage costs at the end of your holiday.
  • Arrival & Departure times- Changeover days are flexible, please arrive after 5pm on arrival day and leave by 10am on departure day. ( we can be flexible out of season). This ensures the villa is clean and tidy ready for your holiday to begin.

Nearby Facilities: There is a good restaurant and bar within walking distance of the villa. The "menu del dia" ( menu of the day) is around 9 euros for a 3 course lunch including wine, water and bread but their also is the full evening menu available. Most restaurants have the same menu at lunch times but prices differ. The village of Calonge has a market every thurs morning ( 9-1pm) where you can buy local produce. There are markets on every day in different towns. Their are 2 excellent supermarkets in Calonge 'Valvi' and ' Suma' which has a superb butcher only a 5 minute drive away. Golf - their are 8 excellent courses in the area and also pitch and putts. we can arrange discounted green fees at certain courses and book them for you. Next to Suma is a English speaking pharmacist, and if needed a very good hospital in the town of Palamos.

Help & Advice on your holiday: We will provide you with directions from Girona/Barcelona airports to help you arrive at your villa safely. Samantha & Jim will meet you and show you around the villa to make sure you know how everything works. they will be happy to answer any queries, questions and problems you may have during your stay but they will also respect your privacy.

Went to the villa over the bank holiday the weather was fantastic, the villa was lovely with a fantastic pool very secluded and private. Facilities were excellant it catered very well for all our needs and we were four couples with different requirements. Local supermarket was excellant and local towns and shopping are absolutely lovely. Beaches close by are lovely with great bars and restaurants, local bar and restaurant within walking distance does a fantastic lunchtime menu that is excellant value. We have booked to go back early July with our family really looking forward to it.

Idyllic Place in the Sun

Spent our Easter holiday here and have booked to go back in the Summer. We thoroughly enjoyed the long lazy days on a sunbed by the pool. Villa has absolutely everything you need like washing machine, cooking facilities etc and especially privacy as it is totally secluded. Went with our 12 year old daughter and her friend and the girls really loved the pool. The beach is not too far away and Plaja d'Aro great for shopping. There were plently of lovely seaside villages nearby which we visitied. Used the nearby Suma the most for food shopping, found it great and it stocked most things we were after. Friends pub and restaurant on the sea front at Playa d'Aro was great for food and drink and staff really friendly. The sports club which is within walking distance also do great food reasonably priced. We tended to cook and eat in and the villa has a well stocked kitched. If you are after a totally relaxing holiday to just chill out and enjoy the surrounding area then you will love this beautiful, well maintained and spacious villa. We cannot wait to go back in the Summer, and am sure we will be back in years to come - thanks you for letting us stay.

Fantastic Villa!

Was there for Easter and have already booked to go back in the summer! Went with our 12 year old daughter and her friend. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, calm atmosphere. Villa very private and secluded and it catered to all our needs with washing machine etc. Pool area excellent and very safe for young children and plenty of space to lie on a sun bed and have long lazy days in the sun. Would recommend the Suma supermarket down the road for any shopping! Had a fantasic time - really relaxing and cannot wait to go back. Playa D'Aro (10 mins away by car) is beautiful and provided us with the beach when we wanted it.
