This recently restored farmhouse is situated in the heart of the Tuscan wine growing region of Montepulciano. The property has spectacular views over the ancient towns Montepulciano and Montefollonico. All the bedrooms have ensuite marble bathrooms and fantastic views of both Montepulciano or Montefollonico. Outside the villa there is a large terrace with views over the vineyards, olive trees and the rolling Tuscan Hills. Inside the villa all the rooms have high oak beamed ceilings and are bright and spacious. The lounge is equipped with a widescreen plasma TV, DVD player and surround sound speakers. DVD films can be borrowed free of charge. Both WiFi and cable broadband internet connections are available in the villa. The beds have white Egyptian cotton sheets with 4 pillows. The towels are also white Egyptian cotton, including pool towels. The large 12m by 6m pool has fantastic views over Montepulciano. Sunbeds and pool towels are provided.

The main farmhouse of La Casina is a 200 year old restored stone building on 3 floors. Covering some 240square meters, the property can easily accommodate 8 people. There is a fully fitted oak kitchen with american style fridge freezer with ice dispenser, cooker, hob and dishwasher and dining table and chairs, a door leads to a beautiful covered patio area with BBQ which has stunning views over the swimming pool and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. There is a very large sitting room which has a 46inch lcd screen TV and dvd player with surround sound speakers, a fireplace and woodburner and arched french windows leading to the garden , patio area and the swimming pool. There are 4 ensuite bedrooms. all with showers, the bathrooms are tiled with travertine tiles and the master bedroom ensuite has a beautiful travertine wash basin and both a bath and a shower.

La Casina is located 5km from the ancient hilltop town of Montepulciano, in the province of Siena. Just 10km from the A1 motorway autostrada of Bettole, you can quickly reach Siena, Florence and Cortona. We are also very close to the town of Pienza. Ryanair fly to Perigia which is the closest airport being just 45minutes drive away. British Airways, Easyjet and RyanAir all fly to Pisa airport, which is 2.5 hours drive. Rome Campino Airport is also about 2.5 hours drive, served by Easyjet and Ryanair.
