This delightful private tower of a magnificent 15thC chateau is yours for exclusive hire for a week or more! The chateau is situated in the foothills of Cevennes and the entire estate comprises over 7 hectares of grounds. Within the grounds is a stunning waterfall that guests are able to swim in. The chateau is divided in to separate apartments but each apartment is entirely self-contained and has its own private garden. Within the garden is a beautiful dining terrace (leading out from the chateau living room) that overlooks the private pool with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The property is a private tower of a very large chateau. Each part of the chateau is completely private and includes your own private garden and swimming pool with shared access to the rest of the 7 hectares, river & waterfall.

The local village is within walking distance where you can pick up your daily bread. Ganges, the nearby market town, is 5km away where you can pick up a fishing license to fish in the river. The tennis court is only 400m away.There is a market twice a week. Only 50km away you have the sea and beaches on the south coast. There are plenty of beautiful villages to visit in the vicinity including Sommieresand its Saturday morning market, Aigues Mortes, Saint-Martin, les Matelles, les Saintes-Maries de la Mer, Uzes, Anduze, Saint Guilhem le désert, the list goes on!! If you can bear to leave the property, small towns, festivals, sport and cultural events beckon for memorable day trips. Montpellier, Nîmes, Le Pont du Gard and Carcassonne are all within short driving distance. Long sandy beaches, medieval towns such as Sommiéres and la Camargue (Aigues-Mortes) are all a short drive away. This is a great wine and truffle region. Skiing at Monte Igual is an hour's drive away.
