Photos and Description of this Jonzac area holiday chateau / country house Each property has own pool, barbecue and garden area.

The chateau is in 6 hectares of parkland in the Charente-Maritime countryside about 30 min from the beaches of Meschers & Royan, and not far from Cognac and Bordeaux. The estate can sleep 38 comfortably with all modern comforts. The chateau has 8 double bedrooms to sleep 16 comfortably.The Etables can sleep 12 and the Domaine a further 10. Each property has its own private pool, barbecue and garden/park area, so the properties can be rented independently or in combination. This is an amazing castle holiday destination! If you do wish to hire the whole estate the chateau reception rooms and terrace provide generous social areas where 40 or more people can come together. The 3 properties are set up as self catered rentals, however our local chef can take over the cooking responsibilities should you wish.

The Chateau St Seurin is set in exclusive 6 hectare parkland in the tranquil countryside of Charente-Maritime, about 30 minutes from the beaches of Meschers and Royan and a short driving distance from Bordeaux wine and Cognac producers. Relax & enjoy the peaceful countryside should you wish to leave the chateau as there are many local attractions. Within a short driving distance are activities for all ages, water parks, zoos a maritime museum, karting, golf, fishing, wine and cognac tours, daily markets and of course shopping. The local area has plenty of churches and edifices from various ancient ages, for example, the local town of Pons offers a visit to its' medieval Donjon. You can also see the well preserved remains of the Roman amphitheatre at the nearby town of Saintes.

  • For full prices and seasons for the chateau, please see the website.

    - Security deposit: €700 for the chateau, €400 for the Etables, €400 for the Domaine, €1400 if one books the whole estate. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection.
    - Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price, and are changed once a week. Guests must provide their own pool towels.
    - Energy costs: Included except oil fired central heating which is charged at cost.
    - End of stay cleaning: Guests are expected to leave the property clean and tidy. Cleaning products and facilities are all provided. Guests can request a cleaning service at €12 per hour.
  • Our local chef, who also has an amazing range of vegetarian dishes, can provide a choice of dishes from buffet suppers of hot and cold dishes at €15 per person & more formal suppers at around €25 per person. Menus on request.

    Babysitting is charged at €10 per hour and maid service costs €12 per hour.
