A beautiful studio apartment in a 4 star health spa complex widely accepted as one of the most luxurious developments in Bansko, the most cost-effective ski destination in Europe. The ski season starts on December the 2nd and runs through to early May. Last year I went in March and the snow was amazing as was the sunny weather. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of terrain, the lack of people on the slopes and how cheap it was. There is also loads to do in the summer from walking and golfing to just relaxing in the spa. The studio apartment comfortably sleeps two or three adults or would suit a family with one child, maybe even two small children (two sofa-beds; one double one single) and has all the self catering facilities you would expect such as a fridge, cooker, television, microwave, bath and shower. The studio has an outlook of pine forests and open skies and is on the ground floor with storage for skis right next door. The shuttle bus runs every hour.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Please read the following terms and conditions before booking:
    The facilities manager will meet you for key handover, checking in and collection of
    security deposit, checking out at the end of stay, inspection and return of deposit. I will arrange a time
    and location (usually at the apartment) for you to meet the facilities manager and when you are staying
    in the apartment you can contact them directly as an emergency point of contact. Unless your
    emergency is genuine calling the facilities manager to the apartment is charged at 15 Euros per time.
    The security deposit is 100 Euros to be paid in cash and is fully refundable
    upon departure if the key and apartment are returned with no damages. Damages will be deducted
    from the security deposit. The spa facilities are charged for, for all guests 7-8 Euros per day per person. The gym is free.
  • Cleaning and linen is included in the price of the rental. The apartment will be cleaned before check in
    and cleaned again mid week and at the end of your stay but please be aware this is a self catering
    apartment so it does not include cleaning every day. You will not be required to clean at the end of your
    stay. Linen and towels will be changed mid week only.
    • Midweek towel change clean
    • Emptying of bins
    • End of stay clean including towel and bedding laundry and remaking of beds
    • No washing up.
    Airport transfers: Are not included in the price of the apartment rental. Transfers can be provided at the
    expense of the guest 75 Euros each way for up to 4 people. A car to carry 6 passengers is also available
    at 100 Euros each way. Please feel free to ask for details.
    Food packs: Are available for delivery to the apartment for your - please ask- you can pay directly on the site.
  • Non guests cannot use the bus. The shuttle bus runs throughout the
    day but please check with the hotel reception for evening and night travel as it does not always run at
    night.
    Check in: After mid-day (12PM noon) but before 6PM on the day you are scheduled to arrive. Check in
    after 6pm will be subject to a 10 Pounds (GBP) surcharge.
    Check out: Before 10.30 AM of the morning after the last evening you are scheduled to stay in the
    apartment.
    Payment: A 25% deposit is required on booking with the remainder of the payment due in full two
    weeks before the booked stay. Non-payment of the rental fee in conjunction with the proceeding terms
    and conditions will result in the booking being canceled. All payments are non-refundable.
    By agreeing to rent the apartment and paying the rental fee guests agree to all of the above terms and
    conditions.

I stayed at the apartment for a week in June with my Mum. The weather was amazing, sunny and warm, and staying at St John's Hill meant that we were already surrounded by the forest which felt lovely. Some days we just sunbathed right outside the apartment door! Bansko was quiet and really cheap to eat out and drink. We went walking on the mountain and generally got away from it all. We hired a car from the airport and drove, which I would recommend as you do need a car to get around Bansko in the summer. I'm really looking forward to going back...... I'm booked for December to get some winter mountain time!
