Privately owned villa in a tranquil setting with stunning views over the Dordogne valley. Private, enclosed gardens with electric security gates with exclusive use of private swimming pool. Close to all local amenities in the market town of Souillac but with the peace and quiet of a hilltop location. Lounge, dining room with satellite TV and wood burner. Large terrace overlooking the 9m swimming pool and valley. Electrically operated solar triggered sun canopy. Fully equipped American kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and a conservatory with barbecues. Three or four bedrooms. Two bathrooms include a shower room. Canoeing, walking, fishing, horse-riding and golf- 18 hole golf course just 10mins. Many famous towns, villages, chateaux, caves, historic and prehistoric sites all close by. Available as 3 or 4 bedroom villa.

We are high up- just 1km from Souillac and looking westwards towards the setting sun and straight down the Dordogne valley. Souillac has all shops, restaurants and services. Half-hour away is the beautiful town of Sarlat- capital of Périgord Noir- the medieval and Renaissance 16th/17th town. Also within half-hour are Rocamadour, Domme, Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, Martel and a little further St Cérè and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne! The locality boasts some of the prettiest villages of France- la Roque-Gageac, Loubressac, Carennac, Autoire and also the medieval chateaux at Beynac, Castelnaud. The English style gardens and French flower terraces at Hautefort, the gardens at Eyrignac, Marqueyssac and the Carsac water gardens. We are within 45 mins of the prehistoric caves of the Vézère valley- Lascaux and Les Eyzies; and the very impressive cave systems at Padirac, Lacave, Rocamadour. The local golf & tennis club with swimming and canoes for hire on the Dordogne close by.

Notes: Our villa comes with exclusive use of the property- including exclusive use of the swimming pool. All electricity, hot water, cooking gas, all bed linen and towels for internal use included. Our villa is situated behind electronic remote controlled gates in grounds of nearly half an acre. Shaded terraces to the rear but much more open around the pool with tree shade if required. There is a large electronically operated automatic sun canopy over the patio/terrace overlooking the pool with direct access from the lounge and conservatory.
