Monpazier has a market on Thursday mornings throughout the year which has been in continuous existence for many centuries. There are also numerous restaurants, gift shops & coffee bars, two convenience stores (Casino and Spa), as well as several butchers and bakers.
Within close proximity to Monpazier there are attractions such as Chateau de Biron, Abbaye de Cadouin, horse riding and rope climbing. Also nearby are key attractions in the Dordogne Valley such as Sarlat, Chateau de Beynac, Chateau de Milandes, Domme, La Rocque-Gageac, Chateau de Monbazillac, Bergerac Old Town and more.
