great value and location

We stayed there in June 2009. Neat and clean, everything new. Excellent bed and mattress. Well stocked modern kitchen. Supermarkets and restaurants just a few steps away, and yet not noisy.
The location is so convenient, minutes from two underground train stations and several bus lines. Close to Paddington Station (train to Heathrow). Taxis are readily available. Proximity to the park and Kensington makes it even more desirable.
Highly recommend this property to anyone going to London.

We stayed here last month and found the property newly renovated and very clean. It was a bit small but the cleanliness made up for it's size. The front desk person was pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone for their stay in London. I wish we could find something like this in New York City.

The apartment itself is in a fantastic location in zone 1 of the underground. It is 3 minutes walk to train stations on either the circle/district line or teh central line which is perfect for those site seeing in london. Only 5min walk to Hyde Park, 15mins to Notting Hill markets. The service at the hotel was great with the staff being friendly and helpful. The room itself was smaller than the photos indicate although reasonable for the price and location. The kitchenette and fridge were fine and it certainly makes the trip cheaper to be able to cook a few meals rather than eat out all the time. The TV and DVD player worked fine and we were fortunate to be offered a room on the ground floor that had a small courtyard for extra space. The room was clean and in good condition. The only criticisms of the hotel/room was that the shower was pretty awful, no water pressure and issues with the heat in the shower. One of the lights went out when we stayed there and we got a replacement lamp which also went out. And not so much a criticism but something to note, the suburb itself has quite a lot of tourists and foreigners living there. Oh, we also couldn't find a decent bar close by... plenty of pubs but no bars. Decent value and condition compared to some of the other hotels in the area. Overall - Good.
