Gardens and terraces:
In addition to the large gated pool terrace there are three further terraces to be enjoyed in the very pretty gardens. There are two terraces on one side of the villa, on two different levels. The upper terrace has an outside kitchen with sink, BBQ, tables and chairs for that ' al fresco dining'. The lower terrace has a covered bar with fridge and cupboards for glasses and cutlery, more chairs and table. A gate from this level leads to the lower garden where the washing line is located. On the other side of the villa a small terrace with table and chairs and free standing BBQ lead from the apartment with more garden and steps that lead up to the main entrance of the villa.
Fiestas and places of interest:
There are numerous local fiestas to enjoy don't miss the famous 'Moors & Christains' that each town and village celebrate at different times throughout the year. One of the oldest bullrings is in Ondara just a short drive from Adsubia and opens during July and August. The theme parks of Terra Mitica and Terra Natura and the water parks are a 40 minute drive away in Benidorm. There are caves to visit in Beniarbeig, Val d'Ebo and even in Adsubia. Golf is at Oliva Nova designed by Seve Ballesteros and has 18 holes a 15 minute drive and also at the fabulous La Sella designed by Jose Olazabal just 15 minutes drive, currently 18 holes but being extended to 27! Walks can be enjoyed from the villa, whether it is mountain walking or just strolling through the orange groves, there are of course many many more walks in the region to be explored and enjoyed. Markets are held on different days in all the towns and villages. Go karting and wind surfing facilities are just a 15 minute drive away.
Cities, towns and restaurants:
Valencia - a truly vibrant city is only just one hours drive or let the train take the stain from Xeracho or Gandia under 6 Euro return!, it has theatre, museums, designer shops the famous L'Oceanograrafic and of course the port that staged the 2007 Americas Cup! Denia is full of cosmopolitan eating places, interesting shops and a castle that overlooks the picturesque port with daily ferries to the Balearic Islands - take your car or go as a foot passenger. Or there are boat trips to the neighbouring coastal towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe each with their own charm. If your holiday is all about enjoying the local fare all at incredibly good value then you won't be disappointed. Tapas, Valenciana paella, sea food and traditional local Spanish food, also many international restaurants to enjoy including Italian, Greek, Dutch, Indian and Chinese all incredibly good value.
