The Luxury Self catering villa is an ideal property for you vacation. It is a new build with all high spec finishing to ensure you have a comfortable stay. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 on the first floor and the main suite on the second floor. The bedrooms are all complete with modern ensuite bathrooms so you have total privacy throughout the house. The main bedroom on the second floor is stunning boasting views from Sintra and the nearby town of Ericeira. The ground floor has a beautiful lounge and dinning area with a Moroccan style furnishing, this room is ideal for relaxing in front of the LCD with a log burning fire during the winter months, or having great dinner parties in the dinning area with a table that can seat 10 guests! (Heating is also available in every room ) The kitchen is complete with all modern appliances making sure you have all that you are used to inc microwave, cooker, fridge freezer, gas hobs, washing machine and dishwasher. The Pool is great for sunbathing!!

The Town of Ericeira is a lovely fishing village with lots of Portuguese character, it still boasts allot of culture and is unspoilt with its cobbled streets and old fishing harbours. There is plenty to do and see in the town, all information is widely on offer at the local tourism office located in the centre of town. There are also many great restaurants and bars to visit for evening fun. For supermarkets you have a LIDL very close by which is great value for money!! There is also a CONTINENTE in Mafra which is around 6 mins by Car. Ericeira is now regarded as the best surfing destination in Europe so if this is your interest, you can contact a company called POCEAN which provide all facilities for the surf and watersports, they have a surf academy plus they offer rentals if you require. My boyfriend and I arrived expecting to stay in the apartment attached to this beautiful villa but were hugely surprised when the owner of the villa decided to upgrade us. The villa was a stunning four bedroomed home and would be fantastic for families or groups.

The property was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. I would definately return albeit with more people as the large, well equipt kitchen is fanatstic for economic nights in.

My boyfriend surfed every day at the local spots and there were fantastic restaurants within a fifteen minute coastal walk from the villa. The restaurants that we found particularly enjoyable were TicTak (on the recommendation of the owner, Craig) and La Pizza. Prices are pretty much the same as the UK but the beer was really cheap!

Mafra and Sintra are definately recommended but take comfortable shoes as there is plenty of walking to do.
