The Town of Ericeira is a lovely fishing village with lots of Portuguese character, it still boasts allot of culture and is unspoilt with its cobbled streets and old fishing harbours. There is plenty to do and see in the town, all information is widely on offer at the local tourism office located in the centre of town. There are also many great restaurants and bars to visit for evening fun. For supermarkets you have a LIDL very close by which is great value for money!! There is also a CONTINENTE in Mafra which is around 6 mins by Car.
Ericeira is now regarded as the best surfing destination in Europe so if this is your interest, you can contact a company called POCEAN which provide all facilities for the surf and watersports, they have a surf academy plus they offer rentals if you require.
