Medicina is an unspoilt medieval Tuscan village situated at 537m within the foothills of the Central Italian Apenines, known as the ’Switzerland of Pescia’. There are approximately 120 permanent residents in the village. Medicina is within 20 minutes of Pescia which boasts a range of supermarkets, as well as the more traditional Gelaterias, Pasticcerias and Panificios. ACCOMMODATION comprises a:Sitting room ( with double bed settee); Kitchen/ dining area (leading to small veranda);Bedroom 1—(double bed); Bedroom 2 (twin beds) and Upstairs bathroom. Medicina is one of ten villages, known as the ten ‘Castelli’, which surround the town of Pescia in Northern Tuscany. Situated amongst the chestnut and olive groves within the mountainous Val Di Torbola Medicina offers the traveler a unique opportunity to discover the unspoilt charm of Tuscan walking trails yet remain within easy access of tourist attractions such as Florence, Lucca or Pisa. Access to pool complex at nearby San Lorenzo.
