With it's gated entrance and beautifull communal garden, Spencer Terrace is a relaxing location for a holiday by the sea. Overlooking Hotham Park near the centre of Bognor, it's ideally located for all amenities. Including the great beach and town centre. Nearby in historic Chichester you can shop, visit art galleries, museums or relax with a coffee. Spencer Terrace is spacious and finished to a high degree, using only the best materials, from the luxurious carpets to Laura Ashley curtains and accessories. No expense has been spared to create a true home from home. The generous master bedroom is superbly comfortable with a luxurious en-suite. The best bit though, is the original Juliet balcony overlooking the stunning gardens. The other two bedrooms are large singles and are furnished to the same high standard. All our beds are new and are made up ready for a relaxing nights sleep using the finest Egyptian cotton linen. We also provide quality fluffy towels.

Bognor Regis is known as the sunniest place in England and it's true! The sun does shine here, but the weather apart, Bognor is a lovely seaside town. It has a wide, paved prom, so its easy to walk along the beach watching the jet skis or kite surfers as they soar in to the air jumping the waves. Deckchairs are available to hire and of course there are lots of places to buy your ice cream and the essential bucket and spade! Along the sea front, Waterloo Square has crazy golf and bowling. Or walk in to the town centre for a wide range of shops and restaurants. Other places of interest are nearby historic Chichester with it's cathedral and famous Festival Theatre and shopping!!. Goodwood, home to the racecourse and race track is 15 minutes away by car, so the apartment is an ideal base for the Festival of Speed, the Revival and of course, Glorious Goodwood. Brighton isn't far away either, just 50 minutes! And if you fancy a day in London. Bognor has a direct rail link to Victoria.

The Area: West Sussex, is a county of contrasts. With the beautiful rolling hills of the South Downs, pretty chocolate box villages and stunning beaches, there is something for everyone! You can always be sure of plenty to do or see. Why not visit Arundel with it's castle that's still home to the Duke of Norfolk, or famous Goodwood, where you can have a flutter on the horses or thrill at the motor racing on it's historic track. Come for the Revival or Festival of Speed and watch the stars of the motor world as they whizz by. Goodwood is also home to the Aeroclub and a golf course. If shopping is your bag, excuse the pun, then give the Roman city of Chichester a visit. No shopping malls here, just a historic town centre full of individual shops and the more familiar high street chains. When you are shopped out, call in to the Cathedral for some quiet contemplation or maybe have a guided tour with one of the knowledgable guides.

Area: Just down the road, about half an hours drive away, is Portsmouth where the Historic Dockyard is a must. Visit the amazing Mary Rose or walk the decks of Nelson's ship the Victory. Or why not take a boat trip around the harbour. You can get a ferry or the Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight from here too. The train links are also very good. There is a direct route to London, which takes under 2 hours, so go shopping or see a show. But you can also visit the theatre in Chichester, the well renown Festival Theatre is just 20 minutes away, there you can see some rather famous Thespians treading the boards. West Sussex is packed with things to occupy you and your family during your stay. In fact there's so much to do, you'll have to come back and visit us again!

Extra Facilities: We provide free wireless internet, digital TV with BT Vision and free local telephone calls. There is also an iPod dock, so you can listen to your own music.

Style in Bognor Regis

As into you drive into the well tended gravel forecourt of this listed building, you have an inkling of what to expect and you are not disappointed. This is an elegant bright and airy flat, decorated and finished with great style and taste. It is immaculate with great attention to detail. There is an enchanting walled garden at the rear, (slightly steep access to this), a lovely park opposite, and all this ten minutes walk from the sea front and the centre of town. Lots to explore without using the car.
The owner was prompt and informative a delightful young woman!
We'd love to go back and certainly would recommend this flat to anyone wanting an elegant break in Bognor. Nice and convenient for Goodwood too!!!

We lived at Spencer Terrace for two weeks in July. The apartment is as great as it's shown in the descripton. The customer service is excellent, from the first contact to goodbye. The owner was very careful and could be called, whenever there was any question. We would absolutely recommend this property to our friends - and did so. Outsides, nearly everything is possible to do: Tours to London (train station nearby), Portsmouth or Brighton are as interesting as the Hotham Park (especially for younger children), which is only a few meters away. We loved to play tennis at the lovely beach of Felpham, watched Ice Age & Harry Potter in Bognor's old fashioned cinema, tested the really exciting "Splash" Swim Centre at Butlin's, Leisure Centre, which can be achieved in only some minutes from Spencer Terrace.

The property was everything it said it would be on the description. Everything was beautiful. The owner provided excellent customer service and was very friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to make us feel special. The apartment was very clean, well-maintained and had beautiful walled gardens. The apartment 'house' was spectacular. Felt safe and secure there.

The only slight drawback was the busy main road out the front but I live in the country and so am not used to traffic.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. Beautiful place to stay. I hope to go back one day.

Spencer Terrace - WOW!

The initial impression walking through the door was WOW! I have stayed in many places and this one was very hard to fault from any angle. Very clean, and unlike other places I've seen, it exceeded my expectations with the standard of accomodation. Also very refreshing to see that it has been furnished to a high standard as so often holiday lets seem to be a dumping ground of unwanted furniture! Everything looked new and of a good quality.
The extra touches provided by the owner were unexpected and it was well stocked with all the essentials. Very pleased to see that there were no hidden costs - even phone calls were included.
The private gardens were handy for a quiet afternoon with a book although its also within walking distance of Hotham Park which has a lot of things to keep the kids amused.
Bognor is a pretty good location to explore from - a must is the nature reserve at Pagham and the castle at Arundel.
Overall, very well presented and thoughtful accomodation and in a good location - I really enjoyed my stay and have already booked another break!
