All Day Sun by the Pool.:
Idyllic very quiet set amongst pine trees first class comfort, this is where your holiday begins. The pool area gets all day sun only dropping behind the pine trees at the end of the day. An oleander hedge surrounds the villa, its pink flowers are very attractive and it provides a lot of privacy.
Relax by the pool, have a barbeque, and live 'al fresco'. With the summer kitchen you can prepare all your meals outside if you wish. The outside kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, ice maker, sink, electric hob, full set of non shatter crockery and cutlery.
Enjoy the Local Area :
The Arenal beach is a beautiful sandy beach which is raked and maintained every evening. There is a pedestrian walk way with restaurants, shops and cafe's where you can sit and watch the world go by. There are platforms in the sea you can swim to and childrens climbing frames on the beach. For children it is the ideal beach with clean sand, good for making sandcastles, and clear sea for swimming or paddling. During the summer season a lifeguard watches the beach and flags are displayed showing the tides.
The beach towards the port is pebbly and quieter. The original Tosca stone was dug from here. Fishermen can often be found here as well as in the port.
The quality of the air is rated by The World Health Organisation as one of the best in he world and the pollen count is very low so ideal for hay fever sufferers.
At the bottom of the road is a large park with swings and childrens climbing frames.
Eating Out.:
If you don't want to cook at home there are a vast choice of restaurants. Villa Celeste and Baccus are within walking distance of the villa and are both very good. Try the steak on a hot stone at Baccus and the 'menu del dia' set menu at Villa Celeste is excellent and good value for money. Along the Arenal beach there is a restaurant to suit you what ever your taste. Sit and eat and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping the beach. There is normally some sort of entertainer to add to the ambience. Market stalls also sell souvenirs and trinkets to take home. Or try a restaurant in the narrow cobbled streets of the old town for a real Spanish meal.
