Lovely place, lovely Hosts!

Review Submitted: February 27, 2011 Date of Stay: September 2010
We have stayed twice now -something we never normally do, and the reasons are several. The property has been restored to an exceptional standard with loving care, and is well equipped and tastefully decorated. Add to this the friendliness of Robin and Rosie, who were very anxious that we had everything that we needed and were keen that we enjoyed ourselves, and you have yourself a great place to stay.

Of course, all the above are all very well, but you need the location to make for great days out. Have no fears, this may not be in the more obvious french holiday destinations but has plenty to occupy everyone. Impressive scenery, great walks, several breathtaking local villages within walking distance, all add to the mix. There are several good restaurants in the village, and a good number more a short drive away. You could, of course, enjoy the good food and chat provided much closer to home, as Rosie is an excellent cook and provides a real treat if you choose to eat there.

In brief you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay with Robin and Rosie!

Wonderful Family Holiday

Review Submitted: January 22, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2010
We drove from the UK to La Salette in 2009 and were rewarded with the most wonderful barn which had been restored to the highest standard with beautiful original timber work, and large open spaces
for our family to spread out in.
Everything was spotless and Robin and Rosie could not have been more welcoming.
Our 3 girls were 13 , 11, and 8 years old and they had the best holiday ever and particularly enjoyed Kayaking and touring the nearby hill top villages.
Sitting out for meals and scrabble under the tree was truly idyllic.
We loved it so much that we returned in 2010 to find a much bigger above ground pool which the girls loved.
Larroque is charming and we loved exploring the surrounding villages
of Penne , Brunniquel, and Puycelsi, and the market at St Antonin.

La Salette

Review Submitted: September 4, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at La Salette. The gite was perfect, well-equipped, clean and spacious. Pool was lovely to cool down in the afternoon.
Rosie and Robin went over and above the call of duty and when we forgot our passports travelled up the autoroute to rendevous with us! They recommended wonderful places to visit and eat.
Canoeing down the Aveyron is to be recommended, but not on a very hot day!
