Larroque is ideally situated between the medieval villages of Bruniquel and Puycelsi (both classified as 'Plus Beaux Villages') to explore the numerous bastide towns and villages which provide this stunning region of South West France with a unique historic character. These medieval towns, each with their own individual style, arcaded market squares with wells or fountains, historic buildings, vibrant weekly markets, local artist galleries and delightful restaurants. Within a short drive through dramatic gorges, vineyards, forests, rich rolling farmland and sunflowers, one can explore such well known bastides as Cordes sur Ciel, Castelnau de Montmiral, Lisle sur Tarn, Penne and Najac.

La Salette

Emmaofdevon Newton Abbot
Review Submitted: September 4, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We had a wonderful 2 weeks at La Salette. The gite was perfect, well-equipped, clean and spacious. Pool was lovely to cool down in the afternoon.
Rosie and Robin went over and above the call of duty and when we forgot our passports travelled up the autoroute to rendevous with us! They recommended wonderful places to visit and eat.
Canoeing down the Aveyron is to be recommended, but not on a very hot day!
