Les Flocons is situated in the most beautiful part of Samoens, south facing with stunning views. It is perfect for families and friends to have a good time after skiing. Even if you do not want to ski, you can sit in the sun on one of the terraces (facing south!) or in the garden. Plenty of space to separate or to hang around with friends in front of the fireplace. A separate SATTV/DVD corner to watch movies. Children can play around the house and watch the farm across the street. Lots of availability to walk. The Samoëns ski resort is part of the Grand Massif with a total of 265 km of slopes, including Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval. In summer, Samoëns offers various activities: para-penting, mountain biking, water rafting, hiking, fishing. Up to seven tennis courts and a public outdoor swimming pool and water park. The only winter and summer resort to be listed by the French Monuments Historiques.

As the river Giffre meanders through the Valle du Giffre there are several lovely villages, the medieval village of Samoens being particularly attractive. From the chalet it is easy to travel to these villages or within an hour further afield to Les Gets, Chamonix, Annecy or Yvoire. During the winter you have the 265kms of the Grand Massif ski area on your doorstep, or for a change try a dog sleigh ride or even paraglide. In Samoens there is the open air ice rink which is also open in the evening, fun to have a skate before or after dinner! In the summer the activities are numerous, from white water rafting, riding, walking, climbing through trees etc. Or for a quieter time try a stroll through the village visiting the local shops or the Wednesday market. In the evenings there are a good choice of restaurants available to suit all tastes or we are able to offer catered services at the chalet.

Last summer we spend a week in this beatiful chalet. It has several balconies all with splendid view over the valley. The bedrooms are large with nice bathrooms. Fromout the pool you also have a beautiful view over the valley. The chalet also has satellite tv and dvd situated in a seperate part of the living room (not near the beautiful fireplace).
We definitaly will visit the chalet this winter to explore the winter and ski in the Grand Massif region.
You must visit this chalet.
