Photos and Description of this Venice city centre holiday apartment A one bedroom apartment in the heart of Venice

The property is not a typical purpose built Mediterranean holiday apartment. It is privately owned by a Scottish doctor and is in a quiet, largely residential area in one of the most attractive parts of Venice. A few minutes walk from the apartment takes you to I Frari, one of the 2 main churches in Venice. Next to I Frari is Scuola Grande di San Rocco, perhaps the jewel in the crown of Venice. The accommodation is a completely restored top-floor flat in a 'cinquento' building (built in 1555). It comprises a living room (including dining table and chairs), bedroom(1 double, 1 single bed), kitchen (gas hob, electric oven and fridge) and shower-room (WC, bidet, shower and wash hand basin). There is air conditioning and central heating. A feature is the terrace (sunny all day)with panoramic views to San Marco, I Frari etc

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay in this well maintained,very peaceful, apartment.The roof terrace was great for having breakfast, lunch and glass of wine in evening.We also found the air conditioning,which worked well,invaluable on a couple of very hot days.
The arrangements.directions etc went very smoothly and descriptions are accurate.The apartment is close to main bus and train stations and plenty of restaurants nearby.
It was good to return to this quieter part of town after a busy day sightseeing with the masses of tourists.
Dont think Venice itself needs recommending, but just in case,it was fabulous.Loved all of it.
We would love to return someday and would certainly use this apartment if possible.Would gladly recommend to friends and family.

We really enjoy our time in this flat in Venice.
After experiencing the colourful and crowded streets of Venice and all that sight-seeing it is good to have such a haven of peace to return to,relaxing on the roof terrace and enjoy the sunset.
We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights on Eastern. It was very clean, very comfortable, bright, airy and spacious. We found it to be really quiet. It had everything we need, which made our stay very pleasant.
It is very easy to reach as it is situated very close to Piazzale Roma.
The owners instructions are full ,accurate and helpful.
We hope to stay there again one day
