Casita de los Palmas

It is a little hard from the website to get a sense of what the cheaper casita offers, as most of the pictures are of the the larger house which is much more expensive. The bottom 2 pictures are of the interior of the casita. It is a 2nd floor one room apartment, built over the managers apartment, with comfy queen size bed and sofas that can be made up into 2 other single beds or rearranged to be a double. It has a simple bathroom off of the main room with toilet, sink and hot shower. It has a nice kitchen, fully supplied with everything you need to cook and live conveniently and cheaply on the beach. We found it wonderful to have a good fridge to keep beer cold and have days of food stocked up.
It is very difficult o find accommodation on the beach with a kitchen and I don't think there is any that is cheaper.
There is beautiful balcony on the beach side but it is difficult o see the ocean because of the apartment is surrounded by thick palms and is partly behind the large house.
There is a small balcony off the kitchen with another staircase that leads to the roof. The roof is not yet developed but from the chairs and small table up there you can see over the jungle in all directions. It is a great place to watch the sunset.
There is a dune 40' away in front of the apartment and on the other side is the beach as shown in all of the pictures. This beach is amazing. We spent lots of time kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkeling and lying in hammocks.
We can't recommend this casita highly enough: !st class private beach with all of the toys and amenities, sweet little comfy apartment WITH KITCHEN, which is all very private and quiet, it is clean and the grounds beautifully maintained, nice people, muy tranquilo atmosphere. For the price this has to be one of the best deals on the beach.
We were there for 2 weeks but would be glad to move in for good.
