Holiday House, Self-catering. Set in the quiet suburb of Hunter’s Home between Knysna Central and the famous Knysna Heads. The distance to the Knysna Lagoon is 800m and the Knysna Golf Course is only 300m away. Leisure Island with it’s Beaches and other Golf Courses like PEZULA are close by. All other attractions in the area are easy to access. We offer peace and tranquillity especially for nature lovers combined with a exclusive self-catered holiday in this private Estate like property. Relax at the unique rock pool area with Jacuzzi, streams and waterfall or take a walk on our private pathways through the Flora and Fauna of our tropical and indigenous garden. The natural surrounding supports an abundant bird life (over 100 species have been identified in the area) and the Knysna Lourie; the Brownhooded Kingfisher and Sunbirds are common visitors. In the evening sit under the Milky Way at our bush braai area with open fire.

The natural environment provides an unusual bird life. The houses are fully equipped and furnished in exquist African Interior. Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route in the Western Cape of South Africa is an ideal starting point for excursions into the surroundings. The area offers wide pristine sand beaches, golf courses, hiking trails in indigenous forest, nature reserves, mountain biking, water sports and much more. Knysna is described as one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the world and has it's own Waterfront with yacht club and several restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy.

A Cave Bar overlooking the pool envites for a sundowner drink. There are Garden lights and swimming pool lights and you are welcome for a swim under the African stars. The saltwater rockpool has a built in jaccuzzi. Several pathways through the garden invite for a walk and benches are waiting for you to have a rest, read a book or watch the bird life. Sunloungers in the lawn next to the pool are available and you can choose between sunny spots or shade under the trees. Secure parking in the property is provided.

Climate and Nature:: Knysna enjoys a moderate climate all year round. Lowest rainfall occures during winter, the yearly average is 770mm. Average temperature during daytime in January is about 26°C. The day time temperature in the winter month (June-August) is about 18°C - which provides perfect conditions for outdoor activities.

Bird Watching: Over 100 species have been identified in the area. We offer excellent bird watching opportunities and the natural surrounding provides an abundant bird-life. The Knysna Turaco (Knysna Lourie), Brownhooded Kingfisher, Sunbirds, Canaries, Flycatchers and lots of other species life and nest in Littlewood Garden. A green belt bordering the property as well as a natural stream through the property encourage the bird-life. The Area offers various trails for birdwatchers. Littlewood Garden has established a bird-friendly garden for nature lovers with a variation of over 50 indiginous trees as well as fynbos sections, proteas, pincushions, ferns, tree-ferns,. succulents, aloe, orchids mixed with tropical plants and palm trees around the pool
