The 3 bedroom Le Chargalon apartment is in the charming village of Champagny en Vanoise which is directly linked to La Plagne and Les Arcs with 425kms of Pistes, 3 glaciers and 2 summits of more than 3000 metres. Situated at the top of the village, overlooking the whole valley towards Courchevel, and only a very short, level walk to the telecabin. 5 Kms away, in the valley of Champagny En Haut, Ice climbing enthusiasts have access to the only artificial Ice Tower in Europe as well as 22 kms of maintained Nordic Cross Country Skiing terrains. Champagny is the gateway to the Vanoise National Park. If you like the mountains, this is an ideal village for both winter and summer holidays.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A two-week booking will be discounted by €100 in the winter and €50 in the summer. The rent does not include the cleaning of the flat; please leave 50 euros in cash on the dining room table to cover these costs. Guests are expected to leave the house in a similar condition as it was on arrival.
    On agreeing a booking we will ask you to complete a booking form and pay 30% of the booking's value in order to secure the booking. Full balance is due EIGHT WEEKS before your arrival date and we reserve the right to re-let the house if the balance is not paid by this date. On receipt of this payment we will send your ARRIVAL INFORMATION with details of and who to contact to obtain keys etc.If paying by credit card, please add a 2% credit card fee - debit cards or cheques are free-of-charge.
  • We also ask for a security deposit of £100 against damage and leaving the house in an unacceptable state. This is payable with the final balance. This will be returned one week after your departure less any deductions due. Any additional cleaning time to clean up unusual mess that one would not normally leave behind in one's own house will be charged at GBP 10 / hour and taken off the security deposit.
  • Cancellation Policy: If Tenant terminates this contract before the arrival date and does not name a replacement that accepts the same terms, they are responsible for paying the following penalty fees to cover costs (excluding cleaning), as long as a further rental is not possible:
    - up to 49 days before rental period: 10 % of rental price
    - up to 35 days before rental period: 30 % of rental price
    - up to 21 days before rental period: 60 % of rental price
    - up to 14 days before rental period: 90 % of rental price
    - Less than 14 days before rental period: 100 % of rental price.

    The Advertiser can thereafter let the property to someone else.

Notes: The apartment has its own ski-locker which can fit up to 6 sets of skis & boots. The garage is a one-car garage which fits a normal estate car (with roof locker) and houses the washing machine and dryer. There is also on-street parking. The appartment is on the 3rd floor of the building and can be accessed by a lift or stairs.

Ski: Champagny is one of the 10 ski stations of la Plagne. The village is at 1250 meters altitude. The cable car of Champagny, from the centre of the village, takes skiers within 8 minutes to an altitude of 2,000 meters on the south side of the Belle Plagne ski area. For snowboarders, there are 3 snow parks including a half-pipe on the terrain. Should you wish to pre-book ski-schools which we recommend during the busy weeks, let us know and we'll email you the website link for the local ski-schools.

We had a great time in Champagny and were very pleased with the flat. It is well located – nearby the lift and close to the shops. Inside, it is very cosy and well appointed. We will remember it most for the very comfortable beds and the great views from the terrace. We would gladly recommend this property and we hope to go back soon as we have a lot more skiing to do!

ps. 2 adults with 2 kids (9 and 11 years old).
