Rhosneigr is a quaint sea side village with lots to do and see. The safe, clean,award winning beaches offer something for everyone. Watersports are very popular - we can arrange tuition or kit hire for kite surfing, wind surfing or Kayaking. The glistening rock pools are great for children to explore and the miles of unspoilt beach offer hours of walking in this stunning coastal location. The village has a good choice of 'surfy' clothes shops, cafes and restaurants. Nearby is an 18 hole golf course, carting track and motorsport racing at Anglesey Circuit. The RAF fast jets are amazing to watch and if you are lucky the Red Arrows can be seen practising above the sea! Anglesey is known as an area of outstanding natural beauty and has many attractions to suit all ages. The apartment is only about 40 mins from Snowdonia National Park, the villages of Betws y Coed and Llanberis are definitely worth a visit. A trip up Snowdon is a great day out by foot or on the train!

Additional information about rental rates

  • A £50 non refundable deposit is required; this will secure your booking once received. The balance for the holiday must be paid 5 weeks before arrival. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks in advance of the arrival date payment is required in full. If the booking is cancelled less than a week before the arrival date the full cost of the holiday will be charged.
    We require a £100 property deposit cheque with each booking. This will be returned in full providing there is no damage to the property or contents.
  • Please email or give me a call if you want a short break or a cost for 2 weeks stay - we do try to be flexible with dates and prices - especially out of season!

Notes: The apartment is on the second floor which is the top floor and enjoys the best views. There is no wheel chair access as there are stairs up to the front door. Kitchen: We provide tea towels, washing up liquid, oven glove, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, iron and ironing board Bathroom: Towels not provided There is use of the garage which is great for storing babies' prams, small boats, windsurfs and ideal for drying wetsuits. Not to mention housing the car! We do not have a washing machine, but there is a laundrette in the village attached to a coffee shop. So you can enjoy a drink whilst the clothes are washed and dried!

Lots to do!: Once you have mastered all the water sports, drank coffee in one of the pavement cafes and strolled up and down the miles of sandy beaches in Rhosneigr you may want to use the apartment as a base to explore the rest of Anglesey & North Wales. There are many castles you can visit during your stay - with Conwy, Penrhyn, and Beaumaris waiting to be explored. The palatial Plas Newydd, home to the Marquis of Anglesey, is a great family day out - take a picnic with you to enjoy in the extensive gardens overlooking the Menai Straits. Portmeirion, the village built for the Prisoner TV series boasts some of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. The quirky village with its shops, pastel painted cottages and cafes add to a very interesting day out. Have a look on the Anglesey and North Wales Tourism websites there is simply too much to see and do to mention!!

So Close to Dublin!: Rhosneigr is approx a 20 minute drive to the port in Holyhead where you can catch a high speed ferry to Dublin. Go and sample the delights of freshly poured Guinness and soak up the cultural and fun atmosphere oozing from every street. Taxis are frequent from the port back to Rhosneigr if you wanted to go as a foot passenger.

Chill Out!: There really is so much to do here for everyone - if you are 1 or 100 you will find something to make your holiday special. Or just simply relax at the end of the day, with a glass of your favourite tipple and watch the sun set over the sea from the comfort of your own apartment.... Lovely apartment in wonderful setting

We had a wonderful four days. The apartment was lovely and spacious and we loved the view. All Anna's (owner) thoughtful touches when preparing the apartment made us feel very warmly welcomed. We enjoyed the beaches and dunes at Rhosneigr. We visited the burial chamber at the end of Broad Beach, and the nearby beach cove beyond. We made enjoyable trips to Newborough Forest and Beach, Caernarfon (town + children's play centre), Beaumaris (town and castle) and Red Wharf Bay. There would have been plenty more to see and do, and we are keen to visit again. We sampled some local amenities: Sullivans / Costa Coffee and the village shops. All were nice. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to fellow travellers. We had a lovely and relaxing stay in a beautiful environment.

Had a fabulous weekend! Thanks for all your very thoughtful touches;comfort and cleanliness of the apartment and superb views. Feels like we have walked miles and miles - lovely to do so without many people around. Highlights included beachcombing, crisp days with brilliant blue skies, kite flying, the burial chamber and the cove beyond, excellent meals at Sullivans and the White Eagle(with roaring log fire) sunrise over snowcapped Snowdon, watching the surfers in the freezing waves and seeing who could grab the armchair with the best view first!! We'll be back Many thanks Anna

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely flat, Beautiful view
So much more to do and places to visit. Fascinating watching the RAF exercises. Will look forward to a return visit.

A world away!

WOW! what a fantastic place to stay! The apartment is very well equipped with everything you would need for a week away. It is so comfortable and is probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect. It is a few steps to the beach which is so quiet and safe. Our little boy spent hours in the rock pools and we could relax knowing he was safe. Rhosneigr village has a few shops and cafes that are all within walking distance of the apartment..and it was great to see the jets practising over the sea. We were in a great place to explore the rest of North Wales and visited Penryhn Castle in Bangor and went on the West Highland railway out of Caernarfon. Can we book for next year please?!
