Craobh Haven:
The village and marina were built some 25 years ago; the harbour created by ingeniously joining together a few small islands with a causeway, giving a stunning walk with frequent sightings of seals, sea birds, otters and eagles. There are wonderful views to the many Inner Hebridean islands and the famous Corryvreckan, the world's third largest whirlpool. Fishing boats work from the harbour and fresh seafood can be bought straight from the boats.
The Lord of the Isles pub has been newly taken over and refurnished, serves excellent food and is a WiFi internet point. Its windows and terrace offer spectacular views across the marina's many boats and harbour to the sea and islands beyond. The perfect place to 'ooh and aaah' at the unbelievable beautiful sunsets!
The village shop is well stocked and The Giving Tree gift shop/art gallery has successful exhibitions of professional local artists' work. The Lunga Riding Stables offer natural horsemanship from beautiful Appaloosa horses.
