Being a 20 minute drive from Bergerac and a 5 minute drive from the bastide town of Eymet it is uniquely placed just off a quiet country lane between Fonroque and Eylias a farming hamlet. Fonroque has a bakery, general dealers and bar/bistro within reasonable walking distance of the property. La Moutique offers tranquillity in comfortable country style surroundings whilst only 5 minutes away from Eymet a thriving market town providing every amenity necessary for an exceptional holiday. Being a family home it offers spacious accommodation and is ideal for a family holiday, sightseeing or house-hunting. Guests can relax by the large pool which is for their exclusive use, explore the nearby bastide and medieval towns or amble through the beautiful countryside. Guests have exclusive use of the covered terrace, bbq, pool (12 x 6m) and surrounding area.

The bastile towns of Castillonnes, Villareal, Issigeac and Eymet burst into life on their particular market day where you can buy fresh locally produced fruit, vegetables,cheese, wine, arts and crafts and regional delicacies. Regional delicacies include prunes, foie gras, magret, ceps, walnuts and confit. Regional wines include Bergerac, Buzet, Monbazillac, Duras, Saint Emilion and Bordeaux. Places of interest include Bergerac, Penne d'Agenais, Sarlat, St. Foy le Grande, Miramont and Duras where chateau, market squares, old towns and churches are well worth a visit. Eymet is the nearest bastile town being only 5 minutes drive. Market day is every Thursday and Tuesday evening night markets are held every week through July to September. There is a good tourist information office in the square where you can hire canoes, bikes, and obtain fishing permits. In the town there is a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes where you can linger over lunch or dine a la carte.

The two upstairs bedrooms are spacious, with open beamed ceilings and wooden floors. All rooms have storage space in the form of drawers and wardrobes. All bed linen and bath towels are provided.
