L'apartment is perched on the cliffs just above the water with panoramic sea views , and the guest can hear the waves crashing against the rocks below the apartment. there is a 180 degree view of the sea, the beach and the marina. The building has its own swimming pool. This apartment really is a fantastic option for your visit to Sitges. When you are in this apartment seems to be in a boat. And the living area and bedrooms has large windows looking out to sea and terraces with tables and chairs just above the water. The beach is less than 5 minutes by foot. The Sitges Marina with all its glitzy bars and restaurants is 5 minutes away. The centre of Sitges is a 15 minute walk along a pretty coastal path nice or a 5 minute drive. There is free parking on the complex.

Arguably Catalonia's most famous resort, Sitges is located around 35 kilometres south of Barcelona and is easily reached by train or bus from Barcelona airport. Due to its proximity to Barcelona it is a popular retreat all year round (see below for events listing) and enjoys a character most Spanish seaside towns lack. Sitges is charming, with its long promenade, modernist architecture and many beaches overlooked by its emblematic 17th century church. There are clubs, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and and a wide range of sporting activities to enjoy. Sitges is a 30 minute train journey from the center of Barcelona (4 trains every hour) and the ideal base from which to explore its larger neighbour. Other attractions close by include the Port Aventura theme park and water park (1 hour by train), Aqua Leon safari park and water park (45 minutes by car), the Roman remains at Tarragona ,the stunning Cathedral at Monserrat. Aiguadolc The marina of Aiguadolç is, considering its location and surroundings, one of the best in the whole of Spain. The centre of the marina consists of a rustic but elegant apartment complex, designed like an ancient typical white fishing village with the Aiguadolç apartment being a part of this. The promenade of the Marina has a lot of shops and elegant restaurants which in summer are frequented by many visitors and boat owners. The Aiguadolç marina compares easily to the marina in Marbella. In winter time guests enjoy the marina's calm and sunny days. Next to the marina the guest will find two of the most beautiful beaches of Sitges: The “Playa de Aiguadolç” and the “Calas de Balmins”. A ten minute walk takes the guest to the old part and also the centre of Sitges town.

This apartment has a fantastic location, great views, a lovely communal pool, and an excellent nearby beach. The apartment is very well-equipped and a lovely environment and is part of a quiet and well maintained complex.
There is beautiful family beach less than a couple of minutes from the apartment and en route to the marina which sits at the far side of the beach.
The Port has some good bars and restuarants. It'S lovely to sit in one of the bars in the port looking at the selection of beautiful yachts.
The walk into Sitges town itself (15 mins) is very pleasant
We had a very warm welcome by the owner,Tina who had not only ensured that there were some basics in the cupboards and fridge to get us started but had placed fresh flowers in the lounge to greet us. A great touch. The place was also spotlessly clean.
Sitges is a lovely place to both relax and party and enjoy the fabulous food. It is also handy for sightseeing with Barcelona only 1/2hr away on the excellent local train service.

on the plus side:
- fabulous views from a variety of terraces
- owners very friendly & helpful (but almost no English)
- clean, modern
- attractive, well-designed complex
- nice swimming pool
- great if you want to be away from it all

on the minus side:
- railway line immediately behind the apartment means constant noise for the bedrooms (trains only stop running between midnight and 5.00am)
- this apartment will not sleep 5 as advertised; using the fold-away bed in the small second bedroom would mean absolutely no room there to move about or even open the bedroom door
- very long walk into town (over a mile to centre of Sitges)
- no direct access by car; car park is over railway bridge
- no food shops nearby (1 small bakery in the marina = 25 minute round trip walking)
- coastal path is through scrub-land with no lighting - a torch is essential
- no kettle; have to boil water for tea / coffee in small saucepan
- very tight, steep spiral staircase to roof terrace; not suitable for small children

definately not suitable for anyone with any mobility problems

To the owners of the apartment: Thank you!!!
This was the 1st time we used this website and we were very pleased with it.
This apartment is amazing for family with two kids or for a couple. The views are spectacular (This is as good as it gets); you feel like in a cruise!!! The sea is right in front of you. I strongly recommend to come with a car. The nearby beach is 5 minutes walk (great beach) but the city center is about half hour walk, and having a car make it much easier. There is free parking by the building. When driving to the city center remember many of the parking spaces require payment so be aware.
The apartment is great and cozy. The owner, though did not speak English, was easy to communicate with, and everything went very smooth.
Restaurants in the area are expensive and serve just ok food, but the supermarkets are amazing and extremely cheap (we shopped at the city center). My suggestion: Do some home cooking in the apartment. You can not believe what 30 Euros can buy in a supermarket in Spain.
Cava, Sangria…….. Have an afternoon drink on the rooftop of the apartment – It is Priceless.
If we will go back to Sitges we will go back to this apartment!!!

Great Time in Sitges

The property is very clean and with fantastic views. The port was about 10 minute walk away and had very nice restaurant and bars. The town and other shops were a bit futher, about a 20 minutes brisk walk.

We arrived by bus from Barcelona airport and were picked up by the owner from the bus stop in the town centre and driven to the apartment, which was fantastic. He even left us back to the bus stop on our return home. So a great service.

The pool looked inviting, but it was a bit too cool to go swimming. The nearby beaches were also very good, with great golden sands and no pebbles.

I would definitely recommend!!

Great Property

We had a lovely break in this apt. The views are breathtaking and the various balconies, verandas and roof top area mean that there is always sun in some part of the building. The only disadvantage is that it is a good 20 min walk from the town. However, when we arrived the owner picked us up which was great.
It has a dishwasher & washing machine which you need after a week on hols. However, if you put on all the appliances together, the power tends to trip but the trip switch is behind the front door.
Well worth a trip. the town is gorgeous!
