Constructed in 2007 using local stone, the open plan first floor living area with its exposed beams& covered terrace provides panoramic views and tree-top living. The house is built around a mediterranean style courtyard planted with olive trees,rosemary and lavender. A sun terrace beyond leads to a free- form tiled swimming pool for your exclusive use. Shaded woodland terraces lead to a gate from where footpaths and bridleways access the adjoining national forest. This is a special environment for lovers of wild flowers, animals and bird life, and yet within easy access of the Mediterranean sea and many exciting towns and historic villages of the S of France. This is a very well appointed property with a very warm welcome from the owners. We had a very enjoyable holiday relaxing by the pool and eating on the wonderful balcony amid the trees. The property is very isolated and we liked watching the bats in the evening and listening to the owls in the distance. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby and some wonderful countryside and gorges to drive through.

Stunning is the only word to describle this property. The location is amazing, you truely are in the middle of a forest however the nearest town is only 15 mins away. The location is fabulous for kids as there is plenty of adventures to have in the forest and the pool. The house is extremely well appointed and very tastfully decorated, clean and very well maintained. This is a great location for sight seeing with only a 45 minute drive to the beach and there are some incredible sights to see within driving distance. The owners provide excellent customer service and are very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this property to many of our friends and family as a location that provides peace and tranquility (especially in the evenings, you can sit on the balcony with a local glass of red wine and watch the sun go down,listen to the wildlife and eventually look at the stars in clear skies.)If peace and tranquility isn't your thing then take your mountain bikes and go nuts in the forest. We loved it and will definately go back.
