Furnished to a luxury standard, our self-catering chalet apartment is an ideal winter ski rental as well as offering a picturesque setting for the summer months. Situated in the heart of this traditional alpine village, the apartment has on its door step something for everyone, 3 minutes from the ski slopes (by free shuttle that stops outside), plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops and exceptional children facilities. There is no need to have a car here, but if you do drive we have private underground parking and secure storage for ski equipment. Two large balconies look over the stunning views of the slopes, mountains and village. After an active day enjoy an evening in front of the open wood fire, a film on the large LCD TV/DVD or listen to your own music via the Bose iPod speakers - we really have tried to think of everything! The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, all beds have feather duvets and pillows and high quality mattresses to ensure a great rest.

Les Carroz is a traditional alpine village in the heart of the Grand Masiif area.Skiing height 1140-2500 metres. The resort is linked to the huge Grand Massif (Samoens, Morrillon, Sixt and Flaine) and provides extensive skiing for all levels. Non skiers also have plenty to do. Choose from air balloon flights, dog sledging, indoor tennis, ice skating and snow shoe outings. In the summer, try mountain biking, trekking, fishing and horse riding, all are on your doorstep! Les Carroz is one of the most accessible resorts in the Alps.

We have furnished the rooms with the best quality linen, covers and mattresses as we believe getting a good night sleep during an activity/family holiday is a must! The beds are a good size and all 8 guests have beds and not sofas! Tastefully decorated with throws and cushions, a real home from home.

Further Details: There are many interesting pavement cafes and shops to browse and a good selection of supermarkets and banking facilities. The tourist information and ski pass office is just on the opposite side of the square.

Children: The childcare facilities in Les Carroz are excellent with a superb crèche for 0-3 yrs just 5 minutes walk away and a club for the older ones just 8 minutes away where they offer a pick-up or drop-off from the local ski schools (we have used both for our own children and highly recommend) There is also a playground and ice rink just outside the door! Outdoor swimming pool opens in June for the summer months.

The resort is linked to the huge Grand Masiif (Samoens, Morrillon, Sixt and Flaine) and provides extensive skiing for all levels. The gondola and chair lift go straight up to the Grand Massif area. Ski area: Grand Massif 265km, 77 lifts: 133 slopes (15 green, 53 blue, 51 red, and 14 black) . Non skiers also have plenty to do. Choose from air balloon flights, dog sledging, indoor tennis, ice skating and snow shoe outings.
