Charming spacious villa situated on a south facing slope near the village of Seillans. The villa enjoys fabulous views and is totally private. It has a large garden, lovely pool, pool house with summer kitchen and BBQ. There is also a boule court and ping-pong table. This is a perfect place for a large family or two families vacationing together. The house is a neo Provencale style house build in three storage. The property is very private and consists of 2500m2 of old terraces with old olive threes. The house is only a 20 min walk to the listed town of Seillans. This very pretty medieval town is a typical southern French village with four good restaurants, a café and tea room and of course a bakery, a butcher and a small supermarket. Take a walk on the narrow cobblestone roads and try to imagine what life was like a thousand years ago. The area around Seillans is wine country so you can make visits to the local wine farmer and taste the good local wines.

Seillans is a listed village only 30 min drive from the coastal town of Cannes and west of the perfume town of Grasse. Nice is an hours drive away and you are also close to tourist attractions like Monaco, St. Tropez and Antibes. The mountains are just behind the village and it will take you less than an hour to drive to Gorge du Verdon. Seillans is situated so you can easily visit all the interesting coastal towns as well as the famous Provancal places like Avignon, Aix en Provence which are one and a half and two hours drive from Seillans.

The village: The village is about 20 min walk from the house. It is a quiet area and the property is very private no close neighbours. It is close to small shops and larger supermarkets are only 10 min drive from house. The village has four good restaurants. The village of Fayence is about 10 min drive from the house. Here you find more restaurants and a local market three times a week.

The coast: The coast is not far from Seillans. You can easily get to the beach in 30-40 min depending which you choose. The closest are Cannes and La Napoule and St. Raphael. In La Napoule you can rent wind surfers other small boats.

Activities: The large lake Lac St. Cassian is only 15 min from Seillans. Here you can rent paddle boats, canoes and cajacs. You can also swim and fish in the lake which is a freshwater lake. The area around is very pretty and are good for hikes. Tourettes which is 15 min from Seillans has Europes largest airport of glider planes. It is fun to watch and you can also choose to take time with a pilot and get a bird view of the area. There are several places for horse riding and the mountains are good for biking, if it is not too hot. It is a very hilly area.
