Furnished to high standard. Lift in apt block. Quiet location on elegant, unique urbanisation, designed as a 18th century Spanish village. On site tapas bar next to beautiful overhanging cork trees. Communal pool. Playground for children. 5 minute drive to shops,banks,supermarkets, numerous restaurants, golf courses and coastal town of Los Alcazares with its award winning safe, family friendly beaches, cafes and promenade,( extends length of Mar Menor - inland sea/lagoon- ideal for bike rides,available for hire in Los Alacazares). Visit local markets which sell everything from olives to shoes! Ideal for couples and families. 10 mins drive from nearest airport (Murcia/San Javier). Car hire is recommended but not essential. Roda is a small village just outside the coastal resort of Los Alcazares. The complex is named Senorio De Roda and is designed in the style of an 18th Century Spanish village. There is a beautiful 14th century church just outside the complex. Located within 2mins walk is the 5 * Roda Golf Club. Non residents are welcome to use the clubhouse for meals and drinks. Los Alcazares coastal town is situated on the Mar Menor inland sea, with its safe sandy beaches. The sea is brilliant for children, being shallow and warm. There is a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes from local cuisine to Indian. There are numerous banks, supermarkets and shops. Bikes can be hired from the pedestrianised area, next to the Post Room. Nearby are several waterparks the largest just up the coast in Torrevieja. Also available are horse riding, quad biking, karting etc, (details in apt brochure). Visit Murcia or Cartagena marina. For a special day out immerse yourself in the local spa mud baths.

  • A £100 deposit is required to secure dates and cover against breakages/damage. (This is refundable after holiday). Full rental payment due 8 weeks prior to departure.
    A payment of 50 euros is also payable at the apt for the cleaners. (The apt is cleaned to a high standard prior to arrival and after departure. A small welcome pack, water, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice is also provided).

Notes: The apt is furnished to a very high standard. Other items in the apt include, iron and ironing board, clothes maiden, toaster, kettle etc. Cutlery, plates, pans, cups and glasses are all there for you. All rooms have ceiling fans (and portable radiators for winter use). A large selection of books, DVD's and board games are available in the apt. There are some beach toys (in 2nd wardrobe), beach umbrellas and cool bags for the beach are in the apt for your use. The large,full apt length balcony off the lounge, has a table and four chairs. (no smoking in apt but allowable on balcony)

Who uses the complex?: The area is quite and user friendly. It is suitable for families and couples. There are some permanent residents on the complex. For 7 days in August, Roda becomes livlier when the local festival is held in the area. Activities include, Flamenco dancing, fiestas, Spanish buffets etc (Activities change every year). The local Spanish people all attend and stay up late but are very welcoming! Enjoy their hospitality.

Car Hire: I would recommend car hire but is not essential. Taxis are relatively cheap, cost from airport to apt approx 10 - 15 euros, to Los Alcazares from apt approx 8 euros. I can arrange airport pick up and departure if required. Car hire is easy and convenient from the airport. Companies such as CarJet and Holiday Autos are generally the cheapest. Distance from airport is 3 miles and easy to drive to/from. No one has got lost yet!

Flights: Flights can be booked via Jet2, Monarch, Easyjet etc to Murcia/ San javier airport.

Other Activities: Quad biking, canoeing, water parks

Just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks holiday. The apartment was superb, spotlessly clean with all the facilities Home from Home!! even down to a local social club with Sangria on tap!! Hired a car which proved very useful especially when we found the stunning beaches and scenery at Calablanque (no bar or cafes here so take a picnic) we went most days. Several great restaurants El Patio, Wok Buffet (near Barclays Bank) and Campbells Irish Bar and restaurant just round corner from apartment. Our personal favourite. Also the Roda Golf Club does an excellant bar snack and a Sangria to die for.The owner provided good customer service and there is a folder with all information about the apartment and surrounding area in the apartment. We would definately recommend to anyone and look forward to returning in the near future.

My wife, my 16 years old son and i stayed in this apartment for two weeks. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The interior offered far more than we had expected. We hired a car for the two weeks we were there, which we collected direct from the airport .The drive from the airport was only 10 mins along very easy to drive roads. Even with this close proximity it did not suffer at all from airport noise due to the direction of planes. My wife sometimes has difficulty in walking and so found the walk to the main towncentre slightly too far.We found that the car was essential to ourselves in order to visit the beach and the towncentre. We found that the owner, Andy, had provided us with good customer care with accurate information relevant to our stay.He also rang us whilst there to ensure all was well.
The Beaches were lovely and there were many restaurants to cater for all tastes.
All in all we had a wonderful holiday.
