Situated 5 minutes away from the beautiful Marina de Lagos, this apartment is centrally based to cater for all interests. It is only a short walk from the apartment to the historic town of Lagos with its wide range of traditional bars and restaurants, shops, museums and other attractions. The Marina itself has plenty of restaurants and bars and there are also many boat and dolphin watching trips and other excursions available from here. Lagos has some of the best and most famous beaches or grotto's on the Algarve, the closest of which to the apartment is the Meia Praia, only 200m away. The apartment is close to several professional golf courses and is an ideal base for golfers wishing to play in the Algarve. The apartment is 50 minutes by car from Faro airport, 5 minute walk from the train station and only 10 minutes from the bus station. Lagos is an ideal base to explore the Algarve and beyond into Spain which is 2 hours away.

Car: not necessary
The location of the apartment genuinely does not require you to have a rented car though of course for convenience you may still wish to hire one. Transfers can be arranged from Faro airport or you can take the bus or train. The train station & bus station are 5 mins walk away from the apartment. Services go to the rest of the Algarve, Lisbon, beaches, water & theme parks. There is a large supermarket, 10 mins walk from the apartment. There is a daily fresh fish market in the town & on Saturdays there is a local market. The cultural centre of Lagos frequently has recitals & art exhibitions. Lagos cinema shows the latest films in English. The fort & moat at the entrance to the harbour, baroque church of St Anthony, art galleries in the old slave market building, Zoo & the Museum of Lagos are worth a visit. The Marina offers boat cruises & fabulous dolphin safaris. Other Activities dolphin safari, boat cruises, children's activity play area on the Marina.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Easter, New Year and Christmas prices per week are 600 euros. Payment accepted in Euros . 25% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance due eight weeks prior to arrival. €150 security deposit on arrival. Security deposit returned on day of departure after a check on the property.
    Cancellation refunds:

    Up to 8 weeks – no cancellation charge.

    4-8 weeks – 50 % of rate refunded.

    2-4 weeks – 25 % of rate refunded.

    Less than 2 weeks – no refund.
  • Rental costs include bed linen and towels. A 25% deposit to be paid on booking. Final balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A separate €150 security deposit is to be paid on arrival. This will be returned on the day of departure. Please note that the deposit will only be used to cover wilful damages or extra cleaning costs if incurred, small breakages are expected and not deducted from security deposit. Long Term Rentals or short breaks possible. Please contact to discuss requirements. Flexible Changeover dates. Apartment is available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00am on the morning of departure. We are flexible on times if discussed prior to arrival or departure and other bookings allow. When you arrive you will be met by The property manager which will be able to show you round the apartment, answer your questions about the apartment and the area. He will also be available during your stay for any problems.
