A new, spacious apartment; 2 double bedrooms, large living room and fully fitted kitchen. Separate bathroom and WC. It accommodates 6 people comfortably and you will enjoy relaxing/dining on your private walled terrace which has a large table and chairs for 6 people, plus gas BBQ. You will have exclusive use of the large pool, also with comfortable relaxation facilities and sun-bathing area & a fixed Gazebo. The apartment has DVD and Hi-Fi equipment. The village of Callas caters for all shopping needs and has 5 Restaurants. The whole area offers beautiful views with great walking, horse riding and golf/spa opportunities plus, the perfect beaches of Frejus, St Tropez, Les Issambres and St Raphael which are less than an hour away. A little further afield you can visit Nice, Cannes, Monaco or even Italy. You are assured of a warm welcome by the British owners who will be available to give you every assistance but remain discreetly in the background. There is ample private parking space.

Callas is a pretty little village in the Var which is part of Provence. It is conveniently placed to explore the nearby mountain areas, visit the beautiful towns of Nice, Cannes, Antibes plus all those places one dreams of such Juan-les-Pins, Villefranche-sur-Mer and pop into the principality of Monaco. With Italy only an hour and a half away, it is worth making a day's trip there with the famous market of Ventimiglia just across the France/Italy border. A visit to Grasse, the european perfume centre, is well worthwhile where you can see how perfumes are distilled and blended before choosing the scent which suits you best. With children in mind there are wonderful beaches at Frejus, St Raphael, St Tropez, Les Issambres etc. Marineland, near Antibes, is a must visit place for children and adults, with lots of other attractions in the Var and Alpes Maritime Departments. The ancient port of Marseille is 2 hours away and is always an area of great interest to explore.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. Balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival and upon arrival a £300 security cheque will be requested to cover any breakages or damage incurred during the stay. This will be refunded 2 weeks after your departure if no breakages or damage are found.

    Payments welcomed by sterling or Euro cheques.

    If the reservation is cancelled prior to 6 weeks of arrival the deposit will be refundable. If the reservation is cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • If the apartment is available the owners will consider week-end rentals (Friday and Saturday nights) at the following rates per night

  • From 29th August to 30th October we are pleased to offer our apartment for £500 per WEEK. Why not take an The apartment sleeps 6 so each week will cost less than £100 per person. APARTMENT SLEEPS 6 AND HAS A PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL, AND ONLY £500 PER WEEK. THE WEATHER IS STILL WARM AND THE EVENINGS ARE STILL LIGHT.

Notes: The apartment is on one level but there are outside steps (4) up into it. It is private with its own entrance and has a south facing walled terrace. It is fully equipped and has 2 easy chairs, a settee and the sofa bed provides further easy seating for 3 people. It has a large dining room table with seating for 6/8 people and a sideboard and side tables. The kitchen has all equipment necessary for guests taking self-catering holidays including toaster, electric coffee making machine, iron and an American Refrigerator which supplies ice cubes and ice cold water together with Hob and Oven. There is a smoke alarm in the living room for everyone's safety. We welcome children and respectfully hope they have the benefit of parental control. The towels we provide will be for use in the apartment only and our hope is that they will NOT be taken to the beaches.

The beautiful Var.: The apartment is part of a villa which stands on the peaceful side of a hill close to the pretty village of Callas. The surrounding villages all have their own particular characters, beauty and charm. Whilst the further north one travels, the more picturesque becomes the scenery. At this time of year, January, the snow glistens on the hilltops which develop into a wonderful backdrop of Spring and Summer beauty. Travelling south brings you to those magnificent resorts and beaches of Nice, Cannes, Monaco into the low mountains of Italy. Nearer beaches are at Frejus, St Raphael, Les Issambres and St Tropez. This whole area is buzzing with the cosmopolitan atmosphere with which one links the South of France. Nearer to Callas is the breathtaking Gorge de Verdon whilst Grasse is well worth a visit where you can enjoy the origins of the world's perfumes by taking a tour of these fascinating perfume houses. Why not visit the ancient Port of Marseille for a really enjoyable day out.

Sporting Activities: If golf is your enjoyment then a visit to St Endriol Golf Club, only 15 minutes away, ensures you of a challenging game and for non-golfers, the Spa and beauty salon are must. The 30 minutes drive to the Golf Club of Terre Blanche, which is recognized as THE golf club in the south of France with its Four Seasons Hotel, makes this a must visit club. Again, Non-golfers are catered for in their Spa and beauty salon. There are numerous horse-riding schools in the area and for those who prefer to use Shanks' pony the district is a walkers' heaven. For the less active holiday maker. Just laze, take in the sun, forget your worries and let the world go by.
