The cathedral city of Cahors on the river is the medieval capital of the Lot famous for wine, bridges, architecture and its regional cuisine. Other medieval villages include St Cirq LaPopie, Rocamadour, Puy L'evque and Montcuq. Weekly markets take place in many of these villages including the Cahors night market. Other attractions include, paragliding, horse riding, kayacking, adventure parks, pre-historic caves, river cruises, golf courses.
