Chateau Joncasses is a unique 9 bedroomed, 7 bathroomed, chateau nestling on a hillside overlooking the beautiful countryside of the Lot Valley, created over more than 20 years by its English owner. Sweeping ivy-clad balustrades and balconies, provide a panoramic view of the grounds and the stunning countryside beyond, whilst inside the chateau intricately detailed carvings, panelled walls, candelabra, antiques and works of art create the ambiance of a bygone age. A unique feature is the intimate Cellar Wine Bar stocked with more than 1000 bottles of local wine. There is a huge solar heater pool and dome covered Jacuzzi surrounded by terraces. In addition there is an indoor sports facility including a gym with exercise equipment, badminton court, table tennis tables, table top football, darts, a pool table and weight lifting equipment. In the grounds there is 6 hole target golf. Self catered or fully catered option for that ultimate relaxing holiday.

The cathedral city of Cahors on the river is the medieval capital of the Lot famous for wine, bridges, architecture and its regional cuisine. Other medieval villages include St Cirq LaPopie, Rocamadour, Puy L'evque and Montcuq. Weekly markets take place in many of these villages including the Cahors night market. Other attractions include, paragliding, horse riding, kayacking, adventure parks, pre-historic caves, river cruises, golf courses. The region is central to both the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastlines. The countryside is stunning, the roads quiet and ideal for walking and cycling with many special panoramic viewing areas. There are many renowned restaurants within driving distance of the Chateau. Throughout the summer every village and town holds its annual fete where one can experience the local culture, music, dancing and amazing firework displays.

  • PRICE INCLUDES A CRUISE ON THE RIVER LOT.

    Rates are based on 16 and includes all linen, towels and pool towels. Parties of up to 20 can be accommodated if some are children and a per person supplement will be charged for numbers over 16. Please contact us for details.


    Weekend nightly rates apply Friday, Saturday Sunday. Arrival for all bookings is after 4.30pm and departure on the last day before 10am.

    If you have specific dates not covered above or periods that scan more than a week please contact us to discuss details as discounts may be applicable.

    A security deposit of 1200 pounds sterling or 1200 euros will be required in cash on arrival.

    Costs for services such as maid or chef can be provided.

    A 35% non refundable deposit is required at time of booking. Remainder to be paid a minimum of 10 weeks before start date of vacation
