Woodlands is an exclusive, Grade II listed Victorian villa with a 1/3 of an acre walled garden and uninterrupted views of the English Channel from the garden and the house. Situated in an elevated position overlooking unspoilt Victorian seaside resort Ventnor, where attractions include the Botanical Gardens and several museums. Only a 5-minute walk to the sandy beach with its small boat slipway and haven, and close to the heart of the town – where promenade pubs serve locally-caught fresh fish dishes, it is perfectly placed for an Isle holiday. The house was recently renovated. There are 4 double bedrooms, one with balcony and 1 single, Living room with coal-effect gas fire and French doors to conservatory and garden. Dining-room. Fully-equipped modern fitted kitchen with breakfast area and terracotta-tiled floor. Utility/laundry room. 2 Bathroom/WC with bidet and over-bath shower.

Ventnor is a Victorian town with a Mediterranean feel, and is one of the sunniest spots on the Isle of Wight - one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK. The seafront enjoys a surprisingly mild climate due to sheltering cliffs and southerly aspect. The Western Esplanade has part sand, part fine shingle beach, good for sunbathing and swimming and adjacent to pubs, cafes, amusements, paddling pool and seafront car park. For formal dining, the Royal Hotel, where Queen Victoria occasionally took afternoon tea, is just 200 yards away from the house.
