Your Holiday Accommodation. Koukla would be ideally suited for couples who want to escape the stresses of life today, but it is also suitable for a family of 4. Koukla offers all the charms of traditional Greek living but with modern facilities. Koukla is made up of a generous double bedroom a large open plan kitchen/dining and living room. Stairs lead to the mezzanine with a further double bed. A bathroom with WC, large wash basin and shower conclude the indoor space. Koukla is equipped with free linen, towels and hairdryer. Furthermore a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, small 2 ring cooker, washing machine, iron, DVD, CD player, electric barbeque and air con. Outdoor space includes a veranda with dining facilities, garden & olive grove. It is situated just off the road in an olive grove, secluded, but only a 10 minutes walk to the village shops. Your holiday experience will be managed by our english speaking local agent who will assist in ensuring that you will enjoy your stay.

This delightfully unspoiled village is Zante's hidden Gem. Encircled by beautiful olive groves, Lithakia is ablaze with hues of green and blues and offers visitors a holiday where one can really unwind. Lithakia, a working village. It is one of the oldest Venetian-style villages traditional and untouched by tourism. Lithakia gently slopes down the hillside to Lithakia Beach with shops, bars and restaurants serving international as well as delicious Greek dishes. The area offers plenty of activities for all: snorkeling, fishing, boat hire , coastal and hillside walks with some fantastic views. A bus service, hiring a car or bike affords one to get around the island to explore the many sights and attractions. Zante town is 8 km away, Agios Stostis (Lithakia Beach) 5 km, Keri Beach 11 km. Visit the Water Park, go Loggerhead Turtle spotting, take a boat trip around the island and onto Shipwreck Beach, go mountain bike riding or just relax.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 30% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. You can pay directly into our bank account, by cheque, bankers draft or by bank to bank transfer.
    On arrival at the holiday property you will be asked for a £100.00 refundable security deposit.
    Early bird discounts are available for bookings taken before the 26th March 2009.
  • Winter season guests are required to pay at time of booking 1 month rent in advance and a refundable security deposit of one month rent. The rent does not include any utilities. These are payable on a weekly basis.
    Early bird discounts are available for bookings taken before the 30th August 2009.
  • Extras -
    Transfer from and to the airport or ferry port £15.00 each way.
    Welcome pack: This contains 2 bottles of drinking water, 1 bottle of each red and white local wine, orange juice, long life milk, butter, jam packs, local bread, tea, coffee and sugar.The price for this is £16.00.
    Special occasion flowers £25.00, chocolates £15.00, Champagne £50.00
    All required extras must be booked together with your holiday.
    Air-conditioning is not always needed and therefore it is not included in the above rates. However should you require air-conditioning please advise our local agent. The cost for this is charged at local rates.

The mezzanine accommodates a further double bed via stairs. All linen is provided. Air conditioning is available and charged extra at local rate. A alarm clock is available. Extra pillows and blankets are available on request. Extra linen for a 2 week or longer stay are available.

the cottage was very nicely situated central to both the main towns and the quiet parts of the island.it is situated up a quiet road surrounded by olive ttrees. the owners roy and sandy have been very helpfull and curteous when we have spoke on the phone. the house is very homely and made us feel that for the week we had it was our home. there are nice touches in the house including an ironing board and iron, cd player and dvd. i would recomend the house to anyone who wants to get away from the noise and do their own thing. if we had known about this place last year, we would have used it for our honeymoon. we loveed the four poster bed and also the decorations on the walls. outside we would sit on the patio and watch the sun go down witgh a glass of wine. there appeared also to be a pet lizard who would come and sit by us while we were having breakfast. besides the main bedroom ther was also a double bed above the kithcen which wasacessable via some steps, which i feel would apeal to young teenagers or another couple.i also feel that taking into account acesability for a wheelchair , the only doorway which was of normal width was the bathroom. this was a compact room with a shallo9w shower tray, no more than an inch high. all in all could not fault the propery and as have said before the house helped make our holiday on a very friendly lovely island. roy and sandy thank you for the usesd of your cottage. we will be back. pete and iva
