Quiet, family friendly, comfortable new house built in 2007 just ten minutes from San Vicente de la Barquera, 20 minutes from Comillas and one hour from Santander.Four double bedrooms, 2.5 baths, fireplace, terrace overlooking Picos de Europa, garage, central gas heating. Linens and cleaning included. All appliances: dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, drier... Great walking and sight seeing, beaches and mountains: Picos de Europa, Cuevas de El Soplao, Playa de Comillas, Playa de Prelluezo, Playa de San Vicente de la Barquera...GOLF IN COMILLAS, PEDREÑA AND IN SAN VICENTE DE LA BARQUERA.

The house is in the village of Abanillas, located 10 km from san Vicente de la Barquera. San Vicente is a beautiful coast village. It offers plenty of different plans: beach, hiking, walking, golf, natural parks, cultural life...at 20km we have the beautiful and historic towns of Santillana, Comillas, the caves of el Soplao. By car at one hour we have the natural park of Picos de Europa. The beaches are many: Oyambre, Prelluezo, san Vicente de la Barquera, Pechon there are golf courses, two very close (Oyambre and in san Vicente) great hiking and walking and very, very good restaurants at a very good price everywhere, in every town. It is a great location for day trips of different interests: cultural, beach, golf, nature, gastronomy even Bilbao with the Guggenheim museum is not more than one hour and half by car. Santander is only 50km by car.

Notes: The house is very well kept. All furniture is new, linens and kitchen appliances. It is a very comfortable, modern and well built house. Hot water and heating work perfect! There is one person in charge of the house that can put the heating and hot water ahead the day of the arrival. Cleaning before and after is included in the price.

Would highly recommend this property for its quiet location. The house is very well cleaned and is as in the description. The village of Abanillas is very quiet however 8km away the town of St Vincente has everything required.
Having some Spanish would be a bonus as we hardly met any English speaking people.
We spent 2 weeks with our children, 10,8 and 1, and we all had a great time exploring the nearby fantastic beaches and taking day trips to places like the nearby mountain range - Les Picos, Bilbao, Santander and many many more interesting places. A car is necessary.
